Pretty good

Liked the movie overall but found Precious's attitude/personality very grating and condescending. Definitely caught me off guard with what was happening for a good bit of the movie which is a nice change.

This started out bringing back a lot of memories of being a teenager hanging out at the mall and what not. That was really surreal. I expected more from this however.

Why did they briefly bring up the SEXUAL assaults/harassments of models etc. Then moved right back to the diversity whining? Why no in depth discussion/digging into the fact Wes Lexner is INCREDIBLY problematic?! His connections to Jeffrey Epstein?

Overall this turned out to be all about discrimination.

How do you go from the OG PD to this?! If Showtime was going to spend more money on this franchise or whatever they should have continued the OG series. This just isn't nearly as good. This is actually kind of embarrassing.

So many lies

So many lies told that are easily fact checked. Markle is a phony liar. Harry should be ashamed of himself for sitting there knowing the truth and allowing her to spew lies about his family. Her sister didn't change back to her maiden name after Meghan and Harry's relationship went public. She had been using it for years prior already. How about in her book Finding Freedom who her friend and mouth piece Omid Scobie wrote saying that NO ONE CRIED DURING THE DRESS FITTINGS? The original rumor always was that MEGHAN made Catherine cry. Or them saying they had been cut off by Chuck when in fact he was until very recently at least still funding them? Why doesn't Meghan talk to any of her relatives or family on either side? Why was Oprah, who was a complete stranger, invited to the wedding and sat in the area in the church reserved for special family members? Why does Meghan claim she paid for her schooling herself when it was her father who bankrolled it all? Why did Meghan go to Africa, visit an impoverished area and proceed to whine and pout about no one asking her is she's okay? While abused women living in the worst conditions are within earshot this self absorbed brat has the verve to complain! How ironic is it that if Meghan and Harry would have gotten their way of being part time working royals none of this garbage would have come out in the first place.

This is exactly the type of documentary series I love! Wish they'd do more areas. It would be cool if we had something like this here in the US too. I live in Chicago but love all things British and so had to watch this. I enjoyed seeing how things changed, the interviews with people who used to live in the areas to see how the societal changes impacted their lives. Sad that a lot of the people were pushed out, their homes torn down then they had to import foreigners to fill the blocks because no one wanted to be crammed into sardine can apartments. A true testament to how the British government failed their own people. Tearing apart extended families and communities for a failed experiment. Even sadder is how some of the streets didn't wind up getting torn down and eventually the historic homes were restored and are now absolutely gorgeous. I truly enjoyed it and felt very sad and angry at times for the people interviewed and the just historical aspect being lost. Well done BBC.

I watched th first season as it came out. I loved it and bought it was fantastic especially for OTA tv. I put off the second season as you can tell by the date of my review by quite some time. I guess I wasn't keen on watching a completely new family, at least that was what o thought and so I didn't bother. I just binged the entire second season and finished and am so upset there won't be a third. Bad move on Fox's part that's for sure. We could have at least gotten an ending that wasn't a cliff hanger. I'm pretty mad to be honest. It gets old getting hooked into great unique shows with interesting plots and characters since they always seem to get cancelled meanwhile the same garbage goes on forever.

Why why why!?! These two have the blandest most boring design taste. They should be drawn and quartered for starting this awful, tacky, flimsy, cheap 'farmhouse' trend. I HATE IT! Seriously it's ugly as all get out. No character or personality just white everything. Also everyone stop it already with the ugly Rae Dunn garbage!!

Stop ruining old houses!!! Just stop it! Stop painting over wood. Leave the original woodwork alone. All these shows really stink. I suggest watching Rehab Addict. She knows what she's doing.

These people really need to look up what restore means. They destroy the original charm and architecture of old homes. AWFUL! An abomination. They don't restore they ruin.

Absolute disappointment how they abruptly ended this show. It was absolutely amazing. There was so much more that could have been told and explored. Several years later and I'm still angry and sad over it ending.

I can't describe it but it's just so funny and comforting to watch. The fact that the cast is all related or close friends in real life is also another thing I really love and respect about this show and the cast. I wish we could get more regular episodes or another season. The Christmas specials aren't enough! Please don't go anywhere Agnes and Co. my mother and I love you guys!
