Get the Action
4 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is actually not bad, Ed Skrein played the sleek character quite well, it's definitely a different portray of the character (more laid back, young) but this Frank didn't seem to be as experienced as the character should be. Ed Skrein here is far from memorable as how Jason Statham was (and still is). Ray Stevenson (as the father) is charming, a scene stealer. Loan Chabanol who played Anna also performed well, she's into the character nicely and a fun a watch, I actually noticed her presence on every scene better than I did Ed.

It's Transporter, you get the actions and some believable fights. And of course, lots of endorsement you can't miss. It's an okay film to watch during spare time, don't have to think much, just enjoy the movie.

A Lot of Questionable Parts
4 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The overall ideas and the way they present the scenes were intense and received quite the reaction it perhaps intended. First few minutes with scary death bodies inside the walls were very promising. However, most of the plots are poorly written, is it real that a big cartel was only guarded by few people? But the other (men) lead characters played their part okay, they lifted the poorly written story a little bit.

Most critics go to Emily Blunt's character. Up until now, I still don't get why was she even there. I don't get the "tension" or whatever it is she's supposed to be showing, maybe conflicts? To me, it is unrealistic for a field agent who's been "kicking doors since day one" really follow the rules by the book with no adaption at all. And the supposedly "smart" agent doesn't get how bad a cartel can be is beyond me - I'm no police but I get how bad "cartel" can get, and I only used imagination. I just don't get it, I feel only annoyed with the character, she is really unnecessary.

Overall, I only get this "annoyed by Emily Blunt" feeling after watching the movie, not much anything else. I'm giving some marks for the other actors and for the "tense".

Excellent Movie
4 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is perfectly touching, heart warming and just beautiful in its way. Since his first appearance, Robert De Niro captured my heart. He plays the gentleman we should see much more often in life. Strangely I've never watch any other movie with a "gentleman" being played so naturally and believable as he did, now that I think about it.

And my praises go to Anne Hathaway as well, she practically shone in the movie. Her presence made the whole screen glow, I'm star-struck. Her portrays of the character of a successful businesswoman with her struggles (without overdoing it) in balancing family and work issues is so believable, it's just so natural and real and many can connect with.

It's pretty obvious that I love the movie. I can see myself watch it over and over again in the years to come.
