There are two ways you could hate this movie.
1. You're expecting it to obey the laws of physics and absolutely adhere to realistic timelines for things like prepping a rocket for launch, etc.
2. You watch movies just to criticize and grade them like it was your student's book report.
Movies are entertainment and for me as a space movie nut, this one absolutely delivered. The moments where I thought it was at times a little bit ridiculous didn't take away anything from my enjoyment of the whole package.
It is pretty packed with decent special effects and action with a solid pace from start to finish. I don't think this movie pretended to be anything it isn't and in the process of not taking itself too seriously, Moonfall delivered a lot of great connections with the past, present, and future of the human space age while supplying a coherent and interesting theory for some of the unanswered questions about the universe.
