Is it the best sequel since T-2? Well not really.
2 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
There is no way anything is going to beat The Terminator or Judgement Day, i would probably put this on par with The Sarah Connor Chronicles not T3, That boring mess Salvation or the WTF reboot Genisys.

2 things that did surprise me was the opening reusing Sarah's psych eval by Doctor Silberman from T2, and how they handle John Connor by killing him in 30 seconds. which to be honest I had no problem with. Just focusing on John Connor and The Terminator itself and taking Sarah out of the picture for T3 and Salvation never really worked for me.

for the cast - of course Linda Hamilton will always be Sarah Connor no one can really deny that, Mackenzie Davis was enjoyable as sort of a merge of the T800 and Kyle Reese, i'm sad to say however the weak link is Natalia Reyes, her character Dani Ramos was just bland making her this new prophet in the future now that John's been wiped out was so obviously signposted.

Can i really recommend this? If you're a hardcore fan? Not really but a casual fan of the 1984 classic? maybe wait till it shows up on 4k, Blu Ray or DVD.

MacGyver: Magnifying Glass (2017)
Season 1, Episode 15

Good, but what the hell is a fictional show doing diving into Serial Killer history story.
21 October 2019
I quite like this episode for 2 reasons: 1. Lucas Till shines again as Mac, and 2. Matilda "Matty" Webber's sudden character development BUT... the there is a MASSIVE CON: Why is a fictional show diving into the real history of the Zodiac Killer?

MacGyver is a James Bond style show I.e. Government agents doing a job but literally taking something from a police murder mystery report and integrating it into this show was a BIG mistake and isn't interesting but really stupid.

X-Rushed
2 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
There's no other way to describe X-Men Apocalypse other than a rushed sequel by Fox with Jennifer Lawrence stupidly made the leader of Charles Xavier's mutants, a really annoying Wolverine cameo that makes no sense, and Lucas Till's Havok gets killed off so Till could go on to be a very bland MacGyver.

However Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner really make us believe these 2 are a cute couple compared to James Marsden and Famke Janssen which have ZERO chemistry with each other in X-Men 1, 2, 3 & Days of Future past ending.

Going from Robin Williams to the Fresh prince of Bel-Air was a big mistake.
24 May 2019
The Aladdin re-do is out and it looked very odd from the trailer and unfortunately this film is really mediocre, even Will Smith will Never be as good as the infamous legend Robin Williams.

Before Bond it was Steele
1 May 2019
Remington Steele was the big door Opening for Pierce Brosnan's career during the 1980s, at the time he wasn't very known and this launched the unknown Irishman into stardom, if you're a fan of movies you'll love listening to Mr. Steele reference so many classic movies, and if you are a Bond fan check this show out.

Not great, but passable
5 February 2019
Macgyver is an 80s icon and this reboot is interesting, but 80s still wins. This Macgyver is basically like Hawaii Five O, just the stories are not as amazing. The cast all do a good job George Eads is an impressive choice for Jack Dalton as he was a quick witted hotshot, but the standout is definitely Lucas Till as the infamous scout/agent Angus Macgyver, he somehow captures Richard Dean Anderson's performance and mannerisms while at the same time making the part his own. Worth your time and while, just keep in mind that this isn't your childhood MacGyver series.

Amazing Saturday night Harrison Ford movie
23 October 2018
Action is staged really well, Harrison and Gary Oldman really play off each-other pretty well but the 1 stand-out performance of the film is Glenn Close,

All characters are well written and not annoyances apart from The Chief of Staff and National Security Adviser roles who are written to be such Lack-wits.

It's interesting to note that 80% of the cast went on to have guest starring roles in "24"
  • Wendy Crewson,
  • Glenn Morshower,
  • Jurgen Prochnow,
  • Timothy Carhart,
  • Xander Berkeley,
  • Tom Everett,
  • Bill Smitrovich,
  • Spencer Garrett,
  • David Gianopoulos
  • Don McManus.

Incredibly stupid, but fun at the same time
3 October 2018
The title says all. JE strikes again has an impressive soundtrack, great moments of comedy, but has moments of stupidity that would make Homer Simpson blush.

A fun ride for the family.
28 May 2018
"Young Han Solo finds adventure when he joins a gang of galactic smugglers, including a 196-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian, the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission -- the Millennium Falcon."

I went into the cinema thinking it would be awful and boring like Last Jedi, but I Freaking LOVE it! I don't understand why people are bashing this movie. it's great.

Alden Ehrenreich captures the performance of Harrison Ford. but the stand outs of the cast are Donald Glover as Lando and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as L3-37, those 2 are the real hearts and soul of this film.

If you like this, take your family to see it. But if you didn't... Don't bash it on the internet and Shut Up! your lives aren't going to change.
