Krack (2021)

Average masala movie

There is nothing special about this movie. This is just your average masala commercial flick which has no story, physics defying stunts, eye candy heroine, dumb villain, etc. Raviteja's energy is the highlight of this movie. Amd I feel Gopichand Malineni should stop making movies , if he can only come up with this kind of logic less dumb scripts.

Amma Cheppindi (2006)

Emotional drama. way ahead of it's time

A great movie which has great performances from almost all the cast. But if you are weak hearted , skip this movie. There is an extremely emotional scene at the end and I am pretty sure no one would have guessed it beforehand. It adds a nice touch to the climax but too emotional and makes you cry. Sharwanand and Suhasini are exceptional as mother-son and their relationship just melts our heart.

CJ7 (2008)

Stephen Chow is a gift to Movie lovers

First Shaolin Soccer, then Kung fu Hustle and then CJ7; Stephen Chow just doesnt fail to amaze us with each film. Too bad he is making very less moviesand getting old. Each and every one of his movies can be watched any number of times with the same amount of fun or interest you had the first time around. Very few filmmakers achieve this. He has introduced an entirely new genre of slapstick action which was almost non existent before Stephen Chow. A special credit to the child actor.

Contagion (2011)

Soderbergh is a visionary!

So, Steven has directed this movie in 2011, and exactly 9 years later we are literally living in this movie. Now let that sink in. I remember watching this movie around 2012 or 13, but due to my young age, i actually kinda didnt get this movie that time. But fast forward 9 years later, I am all grown up and living in this movie now. And I just remembered this movie again. So I gave it a watch again recently, and oh boy it hit me hard this time. We just have to admit that Steven Soderbergh is a fuckin visionary. He literally predicted the future, and a global pandemic is just around the corner. This movie has everything, and extremely realistic and is actually happening now. Mind = blown.

Marshal (2019)

Promising first half, messy second half

The movie starts off pretty well and picks pace through the middle of first half and was done pretty well till interval block. And after that, its all downstream and none of the scenes makes any sense or keeps us intrigued. The director and editor failed miserably in conveying what the movie is about with a messy screenplay in second half. The actors do a decent job except the hero who kinda ruins this movie with unnecessary heroism. Sreekanth had time to shine and the BGM is surprisingly good. Overall, meh...

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019)

Pretty, colorful and a treat for all Pokemon fans.

The production value of this movoe is really commendable. Not knowing how this will be received by audience, the studio still has put a lot of time and money in making this movie and ot actually shows on screen. The actors have done a decent job, the story is pretty intriguing, has lot of fun moments and overall its a total package for your whole family to watch. And pokemon fanatics like me will absolutely love this movie. The only issue I had with this movie is the villain. I cared least abput him or his motive, but other than that small flaw, this is a real blast.

Hey Ram (2000)

Horrors of civil war and the moment of truth.

This movie is way ahead of it's time, and perfectly depicts the horrors of civil war on screen. The characters are built perfectly, and you actually feel for them when each one dies due to one or other reason. Most people got confused on how this movie depicts Gandhi. This movie does NOT criticize him, and the moral of this movie is revenge is never ending process, and only love prevails , just as Gandhi preached.

Section 375 (2019)

Disturbing courtroom drama!

First of all, this movie is deeply disturbing both psychologically and physically. It has details of how the alleged victim has been raped with some graphic content occurring frequently. It shows a major loophole in our law and how easily can any woman exploit it to extract revenge. You cannot support both the prosecutrix and the accused in this movie as both the people are at fault, and this movie brilliantly showcases the 'what if' such complicated situation arise? The law sides with whom? This is the first Akshay Khanna movie I have watched, and oh boy, he is bloody brilliant. He plays the character with such intensity, such suave that it makes your jaw drop. Richa chadha is average at best, with her monotonous dialogues. Overall, a powerful and gripping movie.

Sixer (2019)

Decent entertainer.

A very decent comedy movie with some funny tracks throughout the movie. Dont expect any kind of logic while watching it. Just forget logics and enjoy the comedy. Vaibhav has done a good job selecting this family entertainer.

Brightburn (2019)

Mindless killing machine.

This movie had everything to be a blockbuster. Good production value, great concept,etc. But it failed miserably to create an impact, or at least an interest to the viewers watching this. The kid just turns bad all of a sudden and starts killing everyone gruesomely. We don't learn about the motive behind all that 'Take the world' crap. Who's the kid? Where did he come from? What's the spaceship got to do in changing him into a mindless killing machine? Whose voices does the kid hear? Why did he kidnap the waitress,carve her up and store her in the barn? Like I said, this movie ends midway, and it seemed like the makers are only interested in gruesome killings rather than concentrating on putting a story together. An absolute blunder.

Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya (2019)

Agent sai srinivas athreya, a genuine attempt by newcomers into TFI, is an engaging thriller comedy with a little weird story line. The comedy parts work very well in the movie, but the thriller parts are a little drag. The case our agent takes up is a weird one to say the least, and how he solves it is up to you to see and find out. Overall,its a good one time watch.

Vada Chennai (2018)

Warning: DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE TRAIN!

So Dhanush and Vetri Maran's latest outing, Vada Chennai is just Kaala with higher dose of romance and curse words. The movie starts off on a promising note showing us the plight of today's central prison of Chennai, where rowdies and inmates have a free flow of drugs, alcohol and their attempts to make big name in smuggling business. It also has a good atmosphere in a gangster laden part of Vada Chennai (north madras). But introduction of too many unnecessary characters makes the story lacklustre, as we lose interest in who lives and who dies. I wouldn't blame the actors on this, as all the actors have done justice to their given roles. The screenplay is extremely uninteresting and Vetri Maran's vision gets completely blurred and tossed over in later second half. Suddenly this gangster flick turns into a good guy fighting alone against all the bad guys kind of cliched story. So overall, the movie's base plot becomes similar to that of Rajini's Kaala, where the protagonist fights for the people of his area. A very cliched , one time watchable movie!

Goodachari (2018)

Mind=Blown!

A mind blowing , block buster, trend setting movie in TFI. Movies like this restore my faith on tollywood. A perfect blend of action, suspense, thriller, emotion and romance. None of it is overdone. Adivi Sesh excels in his character as a spy. And the music deserves a special mention. Jagapathi Babu is the soul of this gripping, edge of the seat thriller. A must watch!

Chalo (I) (2018)

Clichéd!

I have no idea what the big fuss is around this movie. This movie is like all other comedy movies, no story, nothing makes sense, unnecessary songs, etc. Even if no story was there to begin with, this movie had potential to be a good comedy entertainer, but too many songs ruined that too. We see songs in the most unnecessary situations. Acting by the lead pair is average. Naga shourya overdone his part and Rashmika had only one expression throughout the movie. Songs and music are average. Comedy doesn't work half of the time. Overall, an average movie.

Ready Player One (2018)

Average popcorn movie!

This movie takes place in 2045, where everyone has no money and a lot of problems but they will do anything to play video games. The plot itself is a big letdown. Almost all of the actors here seemed amateurish on the big screen and the dialogue is a big letdown. It felt like dialogues are written by a teenage boy. I havent read the book, but I was also not interested in this movie. It was quite unbelievable that spielberg directed this garbage. CGI looks pretty decent though. Overall, an average popcorn flick to spend your Saturday evening!

Kumari 21F (2015)

Hebah Patel steals the show!!

Perfect movie which covers all the genres. It has romance, drama, action, sentiment, comedy and some intense scenes throughout. It is refreshing to see the rise of fresh talent in tollywood. Great performances from Raj Tharun, Hema and all the three villains(Noel, Sudharshan and the other guy) but Hebah Patel steals the show with her bold performance. Her expressions are perfect and she was apt for that role. I cannot imagine any other heroine for that role. The climax is the highlight of this movie. And it was pretty intense too. Songs and background score was awesome. DSP has done a great job. Overall a great movie but i suggest not to go to this movie with family.

Sarrainodu (2016)

Way too over-rated...

This is the dumbest movie I have ever seen my entire life. In fact I am shocked when I saw a rating of 7.2 for this awful movie in IMDb. My 10 year old kid is more logical than Boyapati. I still wonder how the hell did he become such a big and famous director? Anyway, coming to the movie, there is nothing but useless fights, heroines' glamour and an item song with rocking dance of AA in it. Don't even think about the story, because when Boyapati directs a movie, there won't be any story in it. As far as acting goes, Sai Kumar, JP, Chalapathi Rao and other legendary actors were seriously under-used. Heroines don't have much to do other than flaunting and dancing for the songs, decent role for Srikanth and lame comedy from Brahmanandam. Overall, this movie is a perfect example of how a movie should not be. Boyapati thinks audience are dumb just like him to watch his stupid films with absolutely no logic at all. I request everyone to boycott such stupid movies. At least then these kind of directors realize their mistakes and start doing sensible movies.

Se7en (1995)

David Fincher's most flawed movie!

This movie has a good plot and strong acting performances from almost all the actors, good screenplay and direction. The only thing it lacks is a plausible story. The one thing which bothers me is the reason behind the killer's (John Doe)actions. He starts off by killing an obese man because he is gluttonous. Obesity is not caused just by being gluttonous. Second is greed. Yes, lawyers are greedy but that is their profession. In fact, in this very movie, John Doe also gets a lawyer who supports him also knowing that he is a serial killer. Is that not a sin? Next is sloth. What does a drug dealer got to do with being lazy? Behind his every murder, the reason is pretty silly. And the most important thing which really bothers me is John Doe killing Mills' wifey. Mills' wife does not commit any sin that catches his eye and yet he kills her just to unleash Mills' wrath on him. This makes John Doe the biggest sinner of all. I liked zodiac which is more reasonable than this movie. This movie is just average with a terrible music.

Furious 7 (2015)

clichés, clichés all over...

OK, I accept this movie is entertaining but its way overrated. In fact i liked the previous FF movies more than this. The dialogue is childish, there is absolutely no logic behind any of the concept or stunts or fights in this movie. However this movie is commendable for the tribute paid to Paul Walker but only that isn't enough for a good movie. is it?? James Wan should stick to making his trademark horror-thrillers instead of an action flick. The character development really sucked in this too. So according to me, leave fast and furious series to Justin Lin. He is the best. So as far as i can say, if you are not bored of stereotyped action movies, this movie is for you.
