Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

Boom!!!

Plot writing was decent and simple but still enjoyable to watch. The storyline here is really simple and formulaic. There's not a lot of new things here. The humor really works well especially with the presence of Sonic and robotnik on the big screen. The third act is pretty predictable by the way. Despite all that, the movie did its job. Everyone in my theater was entertain.

The cast performance was good and hilarious. Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey did their part very well in this movie especially Carrey. Oh man!! The whole theater can't stop laughing whenever he showed up. I have problem with James Marsden in this movie. He doesn't really belong in this kind of movie. Remember Hop movie?

The special effects looks astonishing. Thank God that studio decided to redesign Sonic appearance.

Overall,it might not be perfect movie but still enjoyable action comedy flick that you can watch with whole family

Fast & Furious Spy Racers (2019–2021)

It's very enjoyable and fun animation series

I found it very enjoyable to watch because they embrace the ridiculousness and craziness that they brought from the feature movie. Storyline little bit mediocre but I think it's okay for the kids to view it. The animation really looks breathtaking especially during the action sequence. The voice cast performance need a little bit improvement except for Manish Dayal performance as Shashi. Overall,it might not be adult oriented animation series but it's still know how to entertain the audience with their entertainment value.

6 Underground (2019)

Wasted Potential for Such an Interesting Premise

Plot writing was terrible and messy. For a dumb flick action movie, this movie is really hard to follow. The main problem is the way they edited the movie. It's definitely feel like watching Guy Ritchie's King Arthur movie all over again. The pacing was terrible. At some point I feel like this movie doesn't know what it wants to be. The dialogue was written terribly. Whoever wrote the script really having a coke out while writing the whole script.

The cast performance was good. Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds. Melanie Laurent definitely the best thing in this movie. As for the others,they also quite good but I was so sad that the movie doesnt explore their chemistry in this movie.

The action sequence was good. It's what you expect from Michael Bay. Full of explosion and lot of posing. My favorite will be the Italy car chase scene.

Overall, this movie isn't good and it isn't bad either. The movie just waste a lot of potential that we want to see.

Lady and the Tramp (2019)

Definitely better than all those Disney remake this year

Plot writing was good. They managed to keep heartwarming story properly just like the original movie. Despite with some few changes,the movie still managed to flow without any winds. They also know how to pay tribute better than those two Disney remake movie. Thank God that they didn't butchered the iconic spaghetti and meatballs scene.

The voice cast performance also perfect. Justin Theroux and Tessa Thompson did a great job as Tramp and the lady.

Overall, this is probably the best Disney remake movie for 2019

Ford v Ferrari (2019)

Now that's a racing car movie!!!

Plot writing was great from start to finish. They didn't missed every detail from the truth event. They told the story perfectly from point A to B. The character development was great for Carroll Shellby and Ken Miles character. I'm not sure about Leo Bebee character cause I found him just another cliche movie villain. The dialogue written perfectly well.

The cast performance was great and engaging. Matt Damon and Christian Bale did a great job as their character. I really enjoyed their chemistry in this movie. They nailed their character perfectly without any flaws.

The action sequence was great and perfectly shot. No CGI,no shaky cam, and not messy cut. That's what I can describe for the racing scene. You really need to experience better on cinema by the way.

The cinematography looks beautiful especially during the Le Man's race scene.

Overall, this is probably best racing car movie since Rush.

Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)

It's Pretty Decent But Still Entertaining than Genisys

Plot writing was decent but still enjoyable to watch. Some people definitely not gonna accept some "changes" here but that doesn't mean it's going to ruin your view. The movie know how to deliver genre perfectly this time. The storyline isn't messy and audience can easily follow up with them. The conflict is a little bit dragging for most part

The cast performance was great and engaging. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton did a great job reprising their role. Their kinetic energy still attached to their character. As for the newcomers,they also did a great job.

The action sequence was great and full with action pack. Tim Miller did improve his action direction style here than in Deadpool. My favorite will be the highway chase scene

Overall, this is the Terminator sequel that fans are dying to see

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

The movie really live up audience expectation. It's dumb, ridiculous,fun, and crazy too. This why audience watch this kind of movie because of its entertainment value. The movie really offer audience a lot this time. You got Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham bicker all the time like husband and wife, ridiculous action sequence, and powerful family theme which I think very relatable for some audience. The movie also have surprise appearance by some popular actor which I think gonna get people excited more. Overall, it's very enjoyable dumb flick action movie that definitely live up our expectation

Batman: Hush (2019 Video)

How I start this review? Yes, this movie is a piece of crap!!!! They butcher everything that i love from the graphic novel in this movie. What I can't accept is that they waste one of the most interesting and important character from the source material in this movie. The best part is that they already building up his character from the beginning. And we got nothing. The big reveal also disappointing.

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

It might not be as great as Spider Man 2 but it's still better Amazing Spider Man 2

Plot writing was great and engaging. For those who still have a lot question about Endgame event, the movie will provide some answer. For this movie,Peter Parker is more independent and heartbroken character after the Endgame event. We can see that he's trying to get away a while from Spider Man's life by join the European vacation with his friends. I love they give a different perspective for Spider Man journey here. I really digging in the teen romance theme here. There's a lot shocking moment that I guarantee people will go nuts especially during the end credit scene.

The cast performance was great. Tom Holland really did a great job as Spider Man. He really know how to get his personality fit with the role. Zendaya also did a great job. She have more role here and purpose than in Homecoming. Jake Gyllenhaal also added more flavor as Mysterio.

Overall, it's a very enjoyable and fun sequel for MCU Spider Man movie.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)

The Definition of Action Pack Movie

Plot writing was great and more engaging. The writer did a great job expanding more on John Wick storyline in this movie. The stake is more higher than the first two movie which is very good improvement. The character development also great especially for John Wick character.

The action sequence was great. I love every action sequence in this movie. You can see their dedication for the audience. Seriously,you need to watch it at the cinema to experience these high adrenaline action scene.

Overall, it's the best action movie since Mission Impossible Fallout

Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2019 Video)

Batman need more Crossover after this

Plot writing was good but a little bit simple. The movie really did a good job bringing the turtles into the Batman storyline. I love them in every minute in it. Best part is they stay as the same character that we used to see them in comic,tv series,and movie. Although this movie storyline need more improvement. I found it so simple especially the third act sequence. Overall,I have a fun watching this movie

This is best superhero movie that I ever watch. The storyline was great and powerful with its emotion weight and great treatment to all the characters. If you think Infinity War is more to Thanos storyline,then don't be disappointed because this is the Avengers movie. The movie also bring us to the journey where you can remember the movie what it's supposed to be. 30 years from now, I guarantee that you will introduce and share the love of this movie to your child or grandchild.

Plot writing was great and hilarious. Seriously, Batman need to have crossover more with other Hanna Barbera property. Scooby Doo and the gang really add more fun and flavor in this movie. If this movie was shown at the cinema instead of the 2000 and 2004 version,then Scooby Doo legacy will be saved.

Plot writing was great. For those who's not familiar with the animated series,you still gonna enjoy it. This movie include three new main character which is very likeable and feel connected to audience. This movie is more to PG13 style so don't expect it to be another episode from the animated series. The animation was great. Bruce Timm's animation style still flawless after all these years. Overall, it's a great and enjoyable DC animated movie

Plot writing was great. I love how they made audience feel related to new characters here like Jessica Cruz who is definitely my green lantern since Hal Jordan,Star Boy who is trying to be a superhero,and Miss Martian who always know how teas batman himself. These character deserve a great character development. Let's not forget about Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman who's also added more flavor in this movie. To be honest,I did shed a tear a little bit when they play the theme song from the animated series in this movie. This movie is a nostalgia train ride for all the fans

The Highwaymen (2019)

The movie will be great if it was darker

Plot writing was great but lack of potential. I love the character development between two main character. Although I just wished the movie will be a lot of better with darker tone. This movie is already rated R and I don't know why John Lee Hancock holding his punch here.

The cast performance was great. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson did a great job in this movie. Both of them has a great chemistry with each other.

Overall, this movie is good and enjoyable.

Triple Threat (2019)

If you're expecting an Oscar worthy movie,then you're in the wrong place. This movie include many great action star like Iko Uwais,Tiger Chen, Tony Jaa, Scott Adkins,and Michael Jai White which I think will be the main reason to watch this movie.

Plot writing for this movie might be a little bit weak for most of the part but you can't help yourself to enjoy the movie. The acting was good especially for Iko Uwais and Scott Adkins. The others is kinda... how I can say it? Cringe.

The action sequence was great and engaging. I mean if you're a fan of their movie, you'll definitely enjoy this movie action sequence.

Overall, it's a pretty enjoyable action for a VOD movie.

Triple Frontier (2019)

Plot writing was awful and messy. The movie only copied the plot from The Lost World and they didn't even make it look great. The character development was awful. Claire and Owen suddenly become another one dimension character. Don't start me on with that Franklin and Zia character. The ending is the worst part of the movie. Seriously, who actually wrote the script?!

Captain Marvel (2019)

It's fun and enjoyable movie.

Plot writing was great and powerful. For those who haven't watched it yet, this movie is more to finding identity, not journey to become a superhero. So you need a full attention and patience throughout because it's more to exploring Carol Danvers character. The movie also contained a surprising plot twist. The dialogue writing was great. The movie doesn't contain any cringe worthy dialogue writing.

The cast performance was great. Brie Larson really prove me wrong here. She's really great as captain marvel. Samuel L Jackson also did a good job as Nick Fury. Ben Mendelson also give a great as Talos. Let's not forget about Goose the cat who completely stole some spotlight from the main actors.

Overall,I think it's fun and enjoyable superhero origin movie. Don't believe any negative reception about this movie.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

Plot writing was great and powerful. It's something you don't see in every animation movie. One thing I love about this movie is they put a lot of depth and heart in this movie. Audience definitely gonna attached in their seat till the end of the movie. You also won't get bored by watching it every time you want to watch it. All the characters are very likeable and relatable. I think this movie will be great example to all Hollywood studios .

Venom (2018)

The movie is enjoyable and more fun than I expected. I really love tom Hardy performance as Eddie Brock and venom. I love the action sequence except that final fight. The plot writing could be better though. The first act was a bit boring and dragging but the second and third act is the one that define the movie. Go watch it. Definitely worth your time

Hold the Dark (2018)

Two hours waiting for the answer and guess what? Nothing!! I didn't get to learn the motivation for the antagonist. We still don't know why all of this is happening. The only good part is the cabin shootout scene.
