Steven Universe Future (2019)
Cried so hard!
This was very relatable, didn't even know I needed a good cry till My tears just started shedding and lasted all through the 3 last episodes.
This was a great turning point for Steven he was always trying to help everyone and that can take a toll on you especially when you put other's happiness before your own. This whole season felt like a ballon expanding and expanding till it got to its limit and exploded. I think it took a very natural and humane course, what is a teenage boy supposed to do after undergoing traumas to save the whole universe whilst also undoing his mother's past mistakes adding watching everyone just figure out their path while in the meantime he still has so many un-dealt past traumas and future anxiety. You're sure to shatter at one point especially mixing in those teenage hormones.
I think many people could relate to this season, having anxiety and unprocessed emotions takes a toll on anyone who's trying to figure out their place in the universe.
Definitely left me wanting more. Wish I could give it 100/10! There's very little shows that provoke so much emotions in me.
Meet Cute (2022)
Twist on depression
This movie does a great enactment on depression and how you feel stuck in this state of monotony that brings on thoughts of suicide. The movie does a great job at expressing that wait till tomorrow ordeal and how tomorrow will be a better day. I gave it a 7/10 because the movie builds on this anticipation that makes you believe there's gonna be a huge plot twist but there isn't ,nothing bad with the ending itself it gives you that "don't do it, it'll get better" suicide awareness type of metaphoric end, I just thought it would of added a bit of a twist since it was dancing around the idea that Garry new.
Fantasy Island (2021)
Refreshingly unique!
Amazing series! Refreshing even, very culturally updated. Each episode is uniquely captivating and filled with adventure and drama, at the end of them I wish they would continue on to a whole series apart. Can't wait to see what more the series brings.
My Unorthodox Life (2021)
I enjoyed it
I can see where the hate in these comments is coming from... but this is Julia's life and personal experience in no way is she bad mouthing.
Just how she expresses herself towards the orthodox community in her whole sincerity is all her perspective and thats ok.
This is a reality show not a documentary!
I think as a mom she does want her child to have all options and not shut him off from the start, its mixed not non orthodox I don't see an issue with this.
She can be very "controlling", I don't think thats the correct word I think its her reaction to what she lived through and I would thinks its more "independent" than anything, an independent hard working women who doesn't want her children to go through what she did.
I think its an incredible and unique story that no one has a right to judge.
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
The BEST!!!
Its unbelievable how great this series was, after season 1 you begin to get so addicted to the characters and you fall in love with how they develop and its done in such a perfect way where it feels so natural. The art of having such fashion statements behind the background of a murky town is so fascinating. And the light comedic touch to dramatic scenes just plays so well. Truly fantastic 10/10. I'm crying writing this its just so great and you get attached to the characters and learn to love them so much.
