Cinderella (I) (2021)

Very enjoyable

This is a good film! I have sat through some real rubbish on family film night, but this was really good. It is very witty with some real laugh out loud moments (the mice do kinda steal it). The story is pretty strong, and there is proper character development (how often do you see that in a musical?). Admittedly I did go in with very low expectations, but I was genuinely entertained.

The Doorman (2020)

Utterly unbelievable

Nice scene setting her up as the damaged badass. Stopped watching when this former marine takes out 3 armed bad guys with her bare hands, then 1) doesn't get their guns and 2) goes back into the hotel rather than outside to get help. Totally unbelievable, awful dialogue, awful acting.

Doe (2018)

Worth a watch

The story is interesting enough to keep you engaged, the acting is ok, the dialogue is a little clunky in places with no really memorable lines ... its a solid 6. Entertaining enough to fill a couple of hours.
