Batman: Dead End (2003)
very goofy
I'm looking for something called characterization, which this film fails at.
Looks nice sometimes, but over all... it lacks.
Batman the worlds greatest fighter!!! Grabs a pipe and fights like a woman?!?!?
Most of these fan films are all look, with nothing behind them. They are all poor man versions of Michael Bay. We need less of these people and more story tellers in Hollywood. Unless you want more Charlie's Angels movies.
weak weak weak...
Dark Justice (2003)
Really great
This film was gritty, and real, what Batman should be. It feels very much like Batman Begins, only made 2 years before. Look for Tanoai Reed, the Rock's stunt double, who also won stunt man of the year last year, playing Batman himself, plus a very cool ORIGINAL music score.
The film has something missing from fanfilms, a story and an enjoyable one at that. Granted its only 9 mins, but the story is simple enough to keep the movie moving. The action was great, thanks to the Rock's buddy. I also liked the serious tone this film has, unlike Grayson and Dead End, which are camp to no end.
Also you might have trouble finding this film, but I would try comic conventions for a bootlegged copy.
