The Beekeeper (2024)

Action was fun, but..

Man oh man... This was crazy. Gosh, it was so unrealistic. I am giving it 4 stars, because action was fun. And Statham was a good beekeeper. BUT.... My biggest concern was that the police woman was not phased AT ALL by the fact that her mother killed herself. She was waaaay too chill about that. Like, what?????!!! She was annoying as h... throughout the whole movie. And when her childhood home was burning she was like - oh well... Ughhhh.

Story premise was great, but it really failed to deliver. It had potential, but it got lost somewhere along the way.

Statham did a good job, but i just find this movie ridiculous.

One Day (2024)

Female lead just doesn't make sense...

I loved the book and the movie. This is just not it.

Miscasted the female lead. Every other actor casted in this series was great. Male lead did a great job.

She was strict, no chemistry, boring, flat... I struggled. I forced myself to finish it. She did not deliver at all. She was just not it. He tried. She seemed like she hates him. But not in a way - i love you and i hate that a cannot be with you, but more in a way like - i don't want to have any business with you.

Emma loves him and there should be tension between them in every scene. She really failed to show that. It was like she was over him. Not a fan. Just watch a movie instead.

First episode had me like - what the actual f...?! Second one was also like - what the heck am I watching?! 🤣 But as I continued, it got my interest.

Was it crazy? Yes.

Was it funny? Yes.

Was it emotional? Yes.

Was it educational? Also, yes.

It was refreshing.

It all seemed a bit bananas, but, soooomehow, it worked. It all came together in the end. It had so many layers. A lot of things are not how they are presented.

Acting was great. Try to watch it with an open mind!

Message of this show is actually very important. Like, get off your socials from time to time.

Betty Gilpin was great! I loved her in Glow too.

Love the actors and the story but.... it was rather boring than interesting because it really lacked dynamic.. last 15 mins of the movie was fun.. wasted plot.. :(

There is just too much going on in this movie. Break up, job, daughter, business problems.. Like, too many stories and too much nonsense.. And I feel like every fragment of this movie was shallow. I like Jennifer Lopez and I think she tried to make this work. But no.. It was very hard for me to watch this and I love trashy soapy movies. I was cringing the whole time.. :(

This show is the best thing ever! On top of my list. Other TV series don't even compare... I was laughing and crying in almost every episode so far.. Story is amazing and cast is right on point! 💜
