'M*A*S*H': 30th Anniversary Reunion (2002)
Average
I watched this as part of the M*A*S*H weekend on Paramount Comedy Channel and actually found myself getting bored. It seemed to be focusing more on the early years of M*A*S*H and Alan Alda did a lot of the talking.
On the positive side, it was nice to see the group together and that they had the opportunity to discuss something that was and still is a popular show.
Some of the cast members could have said more but then it's probably not in their nature to talk a lot.
It's worth seeing if you are a MASH fan and if you like Alan Alda it is definitely for you. I just hope they put it on the DVD's.
Great Performances: The Innocents Abroad (1983)
Lovely enjoyable film
I watched this film recently but had read it's bad reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised as I rather liked the film. The main characters were funny and well played and the locations were lovely. I don't know how close it resembles the book but I loved it and it was a film that was easy to watch. I particularly enjoyed David Ogden Stiers as the ship's doctor. He portrayed a character that was different from some of the other roles I have seen him in and as a fan of his, I was also pleased to see that he was in a lot of scenes. I'd recommend people watch the film but it's worth buying if you're a David Ogden Stiers fan.
