The English Game (2020)

Downton Abbey FC

Not enough football to be a good sports movie, but I still enjoyed it. My wife loved it and anyone who likes PBS shows will enjoy this. I would give it a 7 and my wife would give it a 9, so I chose 8. It's a bit too neat and today for me, almost Disney-like, but overall I would recommend it.

Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

Best show in TV history, seriously

This show is fantastic. Nothing superficial or supernatural, just a good story. I loved The Wire on HBO and GOT and West Wing was solid, but none of them are as good as BB. Still a great show after many years.

McMillions (2020)

Agonisingly slow

It's going to take me a few months to watch this, because I can't sit through a whole episode without getting bored. Will have to remember to avoid documentaries by these guys in the future.

Southland (2009–2013)

Excellent

If you liked shows like The Wire, Oz, Sopranos, The Killing, Breaking Bad, or any of the best shows in television history then you will like or love Southland. If you are a fan of NCIS, CSI, and the like, then continue your soap opera world. This is not the show for you.

The Dangerous Book for Boys (2018)

My 8yo loves it

Good family show without being too campy (nothing like the Disney channel shows). Covers some tough family topics (my wife tears-up a bit sometimes), but keeps things light hearted overall. My 8 year old loves it and my wife and I enjoy watching it with him.
