Lost its touch, but Varun Sharma was still amazing (Choocha)
8 December 2017
I'm a great fan of the first movie that released in 2013 but this one really disappointed me as a sequel. This had to happen, there are changes that come with time but here the entire feel of the movie is different. It ultimately turned out to be a mainstream comedy which goes pointless in the end especially with its story. The previous one was pretty much an experimental comedy but it was engaging and something different, this one just has a bit more of tragic comedy A lot of overacting is done whereas some characters fade away, in the end Varun Sharma comes out as the highlight! All the comedy in the movie comes with him and Bholi too. It's not bad if you like to laugh and let loose but it does get boring and over dramatic in the second half especially. All Fukrey fans be ready to laugh again with Choocha's jokes but only if you can handle the story.

An Authentic and a sweet love story, just like a Barfi!
20 August 2017
I have to say Ashwini Iyer Tiwari has a lot of authenticity in her movies, also it's written by Nitesh Tiwari giving it really good dialogues. No it's not the same love story or characters or locations. This is one movie entirely shot in Bareilly, making you feel as if you're right there! Also the entire cast is compatible very easily, especially Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa. In addition, Rajkumar Rao sails through the movie, with quite a quirky character of Pritam Bidrohi! Ayushman plays the same romantic guy with a little more emotion in Bareilly style but Kriti just does not make you feel like Bitty Mishra, she's done her part but a little below expected, nevertheless, this film is great for being an authentic rom com narrated and pulled off in a funny and sweet way that'll make your day especially the ending, being very different from the usual rom coms and making you realize that love in the end is sweet and delightful It's a different one, watch it if you liked Nil Battey Sannata and Rajkumar Rao!

Another great one from Akshay Kumar
16 August 2017
It's a simple story and plot, amazing performances by Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar, along with a good supporting cast especially Divyendu Sharma(Akshay's friend) and Sudhir Pandey(Akshay's father) Some good comedy in the right parts making it engaging, being a social issue film. The only problem is that it's really long and repeats many things again and again making it boring in the second half.

Nevertheless, it's a must watch for everyone because it excels in raising awareness about the cleanliness situation in our country because like every social issue, this one has more than what meets the eye!

How did you not like it!
16 August 2017
Whether or not you believe in friend zone or have been friend zoned, you should watch this! Karan Johar addresses his themes in an excellent way, always! It's not only about the plot or story in a romantic movie, music, script, words everything contributes to an emotional romantic movie and this one has a perfect mix. Despite having so much, it was criticized maybe because that's how romantic themes are, everyone cannot agree on many things about it, and some don't believe in its reality. Unrequited love can be very hard to express and I must say Ranbir does a good job, with every cry of his, your heart will cry out too. Aishwarya nails her dialogues in the movie and shows a different side, Anushka shares a great chemistry with Ranbir! Watch it for friendship and Love!

It's Just more than a Destination Wedding Film!
23 October 2015
Like most of you I had huge expectations from this movie being a Vikas Bahl one, but this one was more of a comedy film. There is no message as such, which is contrary to most of his movies. Nevertheless the movie is comical till the end and certain unexpected twists make it a Shandaar wedding. Clearly portrays what Shandaar truly is when it comes to wedding. Pankaj Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's combination bring in the comedy, but the film does not have a message or story or learning as such and a bit boring at certain parts. First time Shahid and is dad in one movie and they'll make you ROFL. It's basically, a Sit-Com and on a destination wedding but very different from the usual ones. If you're a comedy lover you will like it because the star cast is perfect for such a movie. No better combination than Shahid Alia and Pankaj. All of them have done outstanding acting especially Sushma Seth

Rajkumar Hirani rocked it again!
20 December 2014
I knew that this film, being a Rajkumar Hirani film will be different, outstanding and a great film. This one was a proper satire on religion. It makes us look at our world in a different way, live in a simple way, not sophisticated. Aamir Khan was spectacular and perfect for the role!! No one could've done it better than him. The amount of dedication and handwork in his acting is just impeccable and appreciable. Anushka and Sushant was also brilliant. Saurab Shukla's acting was different this time. Overall, it was a brilliant film having good social messages and portrayed in a different and a spectacular way.
