Josh (2000)
Watch it for Shah Rukh and Aishwarya's chemistry! And only if they had better love interest!
Chandruchur Singh as Rahul ruined the movie for me other than the bad direction of the film. He didn't fit the role and did fairly but they could have had someone else play his part. He got annoying after a while and wouldn't have mind if Max chocked him to death. Anyone had any idea who could have played it better? I am not aware of who was known when this film was made but if I can recast the movie from the actors now, I would want it to be Abhishek and maybe potentially Saif or Ajay (except he would look older than many in the film).
JOSH had good scenes but too many lacking so it could have been potentially better. Aishwarya and Shah Rukh have great chemistry even as twins and I would say did justice with what the movie had to offer which you would know once you have watched it. It isn't one of Shah Rukhs or Aishwaryas best movie but I would love to see the two star in a movie again! The songs were okay and Upun Bola was fun to watch. Also the solo Aishwarya did towards the second half of the movie. She, I would say compared to the movies I've seen, by far the best dancer in Bollywood. The ending was too predictable. Even though they tried to suspense it, it wasn't good enough. Between 6 and 7 out of 10. Without Shah Rukh or Aishwarya, it would be 5. Overall, I would say this movie is average. Watch it for Shah Rukh and Aishwarya chemistry! :)

I said that I was going to re-post after I watched the movie and restate if my feelings still remains. I watched the movie today and it was okay. My expectations weren't too high for this movie, and the movie wasn't as bad as I read it would be. The main thing that took me off is Zayed Khan as Yash. I think his acting did not fit well and there was no connection or chemistry between him and Aishwarya (he also doesn't look well on screen with Aishwarya). He was just wrongly casted for the part or maybe he just didn't do justice. Even after Tamara told Yash she was married, I didn't have any type of affection or remorse towards Yash or Tamara and Yash's relationship (I think I was more happy that she told him to just Yash out of the picture)--it was just blend. The humor was confusing (yash humor especially) and not funny. I know when I re-watch this movie, I would forward through it.
Another thing is the intro of the movie and the actors. I don't think it captured the audience as much as it should have. Again, when Yash was introduced I found him rather annoying. Aishwarya and Sanjay's acting abilities did not fall short especially towards the ending. Sanjay played well as a confused writer who got fiction and reality confused and Aishwarya as the victim in Shaukat's fiction and reality.
The art in this film is also very good and beautiful. Overall, this movie has the potential to be a really good film with some changes; unfortunately, it fell short with the blend acting, chemistry, lack to carry out the concept story, and lack to get the audience interested with the characters.
7.5 out of 10 mainly for some direction and art concept of the movie. I appreciate Aishwarya more in films such as Raincoat, Chokher Bali, HDDCS, and Devdas.
Asoka (2001)
Asoka, another good Shahrukh Khan & Kareena Kapoor film
Overall, I give this film a 5.5/10 for its good writing of Asoka's life and good acting by cast. Shahrukh Khan's acting abilities goes without saying (he's proved it over and over again). Unfortunately, this is my first Kareena Kapoor film and I must say, she left an okay impression. I wish to see more of her films soon. Amazing acting by young star Rahul Dev.
I only wish the ending was written better. The ending narration was good, but for some reason, it felt something missing. Despite my thoughts on the ending, the movie as a whole speaks for it self. I would recommend it to those who likes to watch a good movie, this movie will do the part. But want to see other Shahrukh Khan movies, I would recommend Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, or Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
Devdas (2002)
Devdas... an amazing film! One of the best!
There isn't very much film I can name on top of my head if someone ask me what is worth watching until now. Devdas was a surprise to me because I had no knowledge about the movie or how it impacted. And for that, I didn't have any expectations which I believe worked for my benefit.
Not only that this movie tells a great story, it also have great actors (Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai)along with writer and director that helped make the movie a whole. The scenery, direction, style/outfits, choreography, and music... everything about this movie I enjoyed very much! I only wish movies like these are made more, not only in Bollywood films but esp. in Hollywood--in fact, has anyone seen Veer Zaara? I give this movie a 10/10! I applaud everyone who had something to do with this film. I can't get enough of it and it's definitely one of the BEST! Watch it and see for yourself.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
You know you're in love when...
Before watching this movie, I pretty much made my mind on how it was going to be. Of course, this being Karan Johar film its a given that you will somehow be left satisfied--not forgetting to mention the remarkable cast.
Shahrukh Khan's great ability to adapt into his characters are just amazing! At first, I wasn't too sure about Kajol playing this part throughout the beginning of the movie (I was thinking more for Priety to fit better for Anjali's role), but later I find myself enjoying Kajol as Anjali esp. after she and Rahul met up again 8 years later. I also thought the part of Tina was written really very well and it fit the movie perfectly. Rani did a great job of portraying Tina and I can't think of a better actress who can play that part and do as well as Rani did. As far as Salman Khan, I don't have anything negative to say. Although his role wasn't small, his character impact was big and I got to say, he pulled it off. Finally, the role of Anajali Khanna--amazing acting by Sana Saeed (hands down).
Overall, I give this film an 8.6/10. It's a great movie to watch with the family so enjoy! You won't be left disappointed! :)
Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)
I would recommend this movie! SRK & Preity are great together
To those who likes a movie with a good storyline that is worth-watching, then I would recommend for you to see this movie. It's a great family movie to watch! Not only it had good actors with great acting abilities, but it also include humor & drama throughout the movie. The chemistry between the actors is undeniable and just works despite what others may say. You have to see it for yourself before judging.
~SPOILER~.......... And I must say and without giving out the ending, I wished Naina ended up with someone else instead of ----. Even if the love shared between ---- & Naina may not have lasted long, at least they both experience and know what real love means together. That probably doesn't make sense. I hope I didn't ruin the movie the movie for anyone. ...........
I am giving this movie an 9/10 rating. Prieity & SRK work great together and I can't wait to see more of their films. :)
(VEER ZAARA, another amazing films with Priety & SRK) :)
