Inventing Anna (2022)
Her accent deserves a 0
Did she not listen to herself? Did the producers not tell her nails on a chalkboard are more pleasant. What the fvck was she thinking? Her accent is just horrible. Quite possibly worse than someone purposefully trying to make a very bad over the top accent just based on stereotypes. Kill it with fire!
IMDb Originals: 1-Star Reviews With John Cena (2020)
Funny
Cena actually uses some brain cells with this one and it actually made me laugh. The bad, bad reviews are the funniest part. Anything that keeps me smiling the whole time gets my vote
The Beach Bum (2019)
Not as bad as the reviews say here. If you don't like dazed & confused, you prob won't like this
Not every movie needs to be serious. Not every movie needs a Coppola screenplay or direction. If you can just not expect anything out of it you'll have a good time.
Panopticon (2016)
Pretty good flick considering there obviously was about 5 bucks as a budget
I thought it was a great movie for what it was since it appears that it had a shoestring budget. But not having money to spend doesn't make this a don't watch. I think not having a budget makes the execution of this so much better
The Expanse (2015)
I'm so happy to see season 4 completely released today by Amazon!
Season 1, 2 and 3 were all a solid 10/10 for me once the characters and plot really start going around s1x03 or s1x04. From there on out it is totally bingeable, and at least for me, hard not to. I was shocked to learn that Syfy stupidly canned The Expanse last year, 2018 for future reference, leaving a somewhat large hole in my heart and soul. Shortly thereafter I read that Amazon was buying the rights for the show (👍😀🤗) but also that we would have to wait until June or July 2020 for the new season to be released, which was about a year and a half (👎😤😭). Now I'm not a big scifi head, I totally never watched SyFy except for this show, Happy, and 12 Monkeys. And it feels like I'm missing one but I digress. After hearing I would be waiting forever, I saw that the books that this show is based on have terrific reviews so I got an ebook of the first book in the series. I couldn't put it down! No wonder this show is as good as it is. Now I just have another 4500 or so pages to go plus the add ons! Hah! Now I'm not an avid reader, I could probably make the argument that I don't really read at all. To give you an idea, the last two books that I read before this series were Black Hawk Down and Fight Club probably 15 or more years ago.
Well much to my surprise, today I saw season 4x01 in my new episodes list, which brought me here to see that Amazon did me a solid and released all of season 4 today, December 13! 6 to 7 months earlier than what I was expecting and what I last read. I haven't started the new season yet so I can't really say anything about it besides that I'm super happy to have this released now, it's a great Xmas gift, and that I'm excited to see what this season will include and what it's gonna look like.
Mr. Robot: 409 Conflict (2019)
I'm the guy that didn't give it a 10
Cause it's a solid 9. Last weeks episode was definitely a 10. I sat there just staring at my TV for minutes even after the show stream ended. Yes, this episode was great. We've been waiting for this for 4 years now. But a 10 it is not
Godfather of Harlem (2019)
Honest 8 out of me but upped to 9 cause all the hate
It took me an episode or two but then at the right angle I saw Gustavo Fring. I kept telling myself no way since straight on it didn't look like him but at the beginning of episode 5 I finally checked and it is.
I can't believe half the bad reviews on here are cause there's rap in it. What the? Name me another modern movie that doesn't suck that sticks strictly to late 50s early 60s music that was widely watched. It's a stupid reason to trash a show.
Second problem, all the people complaining about how much there's tones of race and racism. Guess what? That's how it was in 1960 in America. Stop thinking so damn small that you can't see past your own self and block.
Third, I find the writing fine for what it's supposed to represent. You can take every show ever made and if you compare it to the sopranos it's not gonna look good. Sopranos is the 1% of the 1%.
Most of you are idiots.
Mr. Robot: 407 Proxy Authentication Required (2019)
10/10.
This episode is right up there with the second to last episode of Breaking Bad, episode 14 Ozymandias. It's the only other TV show episode that I've ever given a solid 10 out of 10. I felt exactly the same when that ended too. I just stared at the credits like OMG for a few minutes and then came here to write this. I'm going to re-watch it again when I'm done here, just like BB EP 14 Ozymandias. My eyes were wide and glued the whole episode and I think I forgot to breathe a few times. The reveal makes sense when you think about it. Especially the no touch thing. Im wondering if that was a blackout with the lights at the end or something more. And I'm still wondering if there's a third personality.
The Lobster (2015)
Sucks
Don't waste your time. I'd rather sit through 2 hours of root canals than sit through this poor excuse for "art".
Designated Survivor (2016)
Was great season 1 + 2, prob 8.0. Season three is horrible. 2.0. Avg 6.0
Season 1 and season 2 were great and well thought out. The plot continued through the season while still having each episode containing its own story. Season three seems like they just figured out a few individual scenes they wanted to show on TV for social purposes and then figured out what the story would be and why as a second thought. I kept face-palming myself with the multiple sex scenes that were thrown in just to have them. Especially the old dude that really gets around for some reason. I didn't like him after they spent the first 3 of 5 minutes just on him s3e01.
Just stop after season 2.
Season 1 8.0
Season 2 8.0
Season 3 2.0
For a 6 overall. And that's generous considering how horribly bad Netflix messed up a great thing with season 3. I understand you can't contract the exact same cast but changing up that much of the cast, combined with shifting roles of the people that recurred is hard enough on a show but combine that with the bad writing and decision making in season 3 its a hard pass on anything new from designated survivor
Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019)
Wow
I'll try to write this w/o spoilers but still trying to point out something specific about the next to last episode...... I can't believe what I was seeing near the end of this week's episode. The next to last episode, specifically reshooting a few scenes to make it hip hop while keeping it og was fan fn tastic. Had me smiling the whole few scenes and actually had me laugh out loud once or twice. After that, Leaving on the note that they did left me feigning for the finale.
Fractured (2019)
If I could give 0.stars
I'm 17 minutes in and there's been literally 6 times this movie made me want to turn it off since the actions of the father are idiotic and done just so there's some sort of bad character background and the interactions with other ppl make no sense whatsoever. I don't hate a lot of movies and I almost never turn one offfl but this one takes the cake. I'll edit this again if I actually make it through this sorry excuse for a film
Carnival Row (2019)
1st season seems like it's only half a season
I feel like the 8 episodes of season one could have been wrapped up in 4 episodes or so. It feels like there is a lot of story left that wasn't told. More like it barely started introducing the characters and just as their individual arc or plot started is when the season wrapped. Yes it looked good but so did the new godzilla movie. Look how much GoT fit into the final 8 episodes, granted 2 or three were a little more than an hour. Carnival Row could have been so much more if they either went 10 or 12 episodes per season the way it is or if it was edited better and sped up the plot and stuck with 8 episodes

It's Bruno! (2019)
Def give it a watch
One of the funniest things I've seen so far in 2019. Short episodes too so there's no excuse not to watch it. Made me actually laugh out loud. Had at least a smile the entire time. Would recommend

The Hot Zone: Cell H (2019)
This is the type of show that you gotta not think too much or forget somethings you see
Like seriously, you're worried about some monkey carcasses thawing out on a drive, while you're in a parking lot of a store with ice machines outside. Now maybe I'm a genius but I think that if I needed to keep them frozen that I would get at least a few bags of said ice, but no, they just put them in the trunk and say f it. And then she tells him that he's gotta follow her and watch for drips. Now I know it's a 25 year old Oldsmobile hunk of junk so maybe the trunk is rusted out or something, but a cars trunk is sealed up so if somethings leaking on the inside its not gonna come out unless you pull the plug(s) out of the spare tire well. And when it does start leaking in the episode the blood starts coming out from under the trunk lid and above the bumper. So that means the blood defied gravity cause instead of leaking on the floor and under the spare tire it leaked up, up the rear body panel, past the weatherstripping that seals the trunk good enough to keep water and air leaks out and only then did gravity start taking effect when the blood starts going down the bumper. So not only it defied gravity apparently the weatherstrip only works on water and stuff but not on blood, blood will go right by it. And that's only the first 2 minutes of this episode, I'm probably gonna have to come back here and edit this once it's over
