Step aside Army of Darkness/ Bruce Campbell - Betty Gilpin is here!

Who needs CGI when you have great actors, writers, stories and directors!! Thank you Betty Gilpin for bringing us the incredible dead pan, lovable character of Crystal come to the screen. I was losing hope that we would ever see a female 'Bruce Campbell', let alone one who would actually leap frog over him. I am sure Sam Rami is jealous of Betty's performance. Now if only we can have Betty in a new trilogy for us twisted fans and lovers of great popcorn movies that don't need CGI to make it work. I'm in for tickets to the next one!

Birth of the Dragon (2016)

Were the insulting reviews done as a class project of hating whites?

It's just a movie, not a study of racism. One only has to look at the review dates and see a lot were done within a few days as if it was a class project by snowflakes who are insulted by the fact that whites breathe the same air as they do. Faux intellects claiming whites insult Asians / Japanese who have a sad history, like whites that included slavery and practices of racial superiority. What has that got to do with this movie? Really nuts to get phony intellect social study reviews by rabid hate mongers. Yes, Hollywood makes a lot of junk that I would not use to hold my garbage. But this film hardly merits the volumes of visceral hate lobbed against white people. The claim that Asians are not stars in Hollywood belittles the Asian community of stars that have made it big in Hollywood. Another meh popcorn movie for a rainy day that will not be added to my collection.

The Boss Baby (2017)

Boring and violent for kids. I cannot recommend a film that green lights violence against boys. When did kicking a boy in the groin (that could kill him) become funny? Is punching a woman in the breasts hilarious? This disgusting example of violence to males is teaching a new generation of children that a groin kick that can kill a boy is hysterically funny. So why do they preach you never, ever hit a woman - another shining example of Hollywood's sexist hypocrisy. Garbage film, Bad script. Alec Baldwin of all people should know better than participate in this kind of male bashing.

Strange Magic (2015)

Another piece of trash cranked out under a Brand name to dupe the public to waste their time and money on. This is what happens when of a committee of like thinking bobble heads puts together a movie all afraid to voice dissent because they fear the the boss who wants this horrible script put to stale old sound tracks, aging adult voices (its a kids movie!)and seen it before plots. I means really where do you begin with this bomb.... The Voices....I gave up at the irritating yodeling. Seems like George owed a lot of favors to aging child actors and everyone sounds far past puberty, depressed, divorced and looking for romance. Geeez George, was this supposed to be just a paycheck movie suckering in folks with your Brand name? The Songs....excuse me? I thought kids movies all had original soundtracks and not songs from 50 years ago. The Beatles, The Doors? The animated Actors- I means really, did George have to knock off the movie Epic and steal all the characters. The story....been there, done way too many times before. Shame on you George for putting your name to this. Go see Army of Darkness and see 10 times the creativity at 2 percent of the budget.

Movie 43 (2013)

If you liked Team America, American Carol and Django, then..yay!

Come on now.This movie is in the same genius as Mars Attacks, Zombieland, The Lost skeleton of Cadavra, American Carol and Tropic Thunder. It is fun, well scripted and has amazing stars in it. Those who panned the movie, would pan the above I mentioned. Haven't laughed so hard or scratched my head wondering how much more crazy it could get. Nothing is taboo. Bravo to all the great KNOWN stars who took a role in it. Not all movies are about huge paychecks for the stars or huge percentages of gross.These stars understand that movies are to entertain. You do not need green screens and a billion of dollars of CGA to be worth watching. What bothers me are people who watch every movie as if it is supposed to be an academy award winner. The Evil Dead trilogy (Army of Darkness) wins hands down in creativity over the boring and endless Lord of the Rings...I mean throw the darn ring into the lava already. It is great to watch a film that says what we think and brings out our lost child. I hope there is a sequel.
