Ghosts of War (2020)

I'm confused why noone likes the ending. It takes alot for a film to make me put down my phone and actually watch and that's what this did for me.

I knew there was a twist coming and I loved that it was completely out there and not something I would have imagined.

The acting is fantastic, there is emotion, its eery, you want to try and figure it out.

My only gripe is the poor CGI but honestly I don't think it was enough to ruin the movie.

Give it a watch and make your own decision on the ending. Be open and make your own interpretation. Why does everyone always want endings spelled out to them?

Sometimes a good movie leaves you with questions.

Insult to the quiet ones
19 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
If you've seen the quiet ones then you'll instantly understand how insulting this movie is.

As soon as they ignored the government message of stay inside and keep quiet, instead deciding to go outside, start shouting to each other whilst slamming car doors, I knew it was going to be awful.

One minute these creatures can hear the dad stepping on a tiny pebble, the next they can't seem to hear people rolling around and fighting on the floor without someone screaming, which turns out to be completely pointless anyway.

The timeline is so bizarre, they've managed to walk "North" within a couple of days? All the while keeping Wi-Fi and iPad battery?

I'm not gunna list everything wrong with this film because to put it blunty there's nothing right with it.

Go watch the quiet ones if you would like to see a good film about monsters being attracted to sound. Don't waste precious moments of your life on this pile of garbage.

6 months!
16 April 2019
It took me 6 months to complete, I took my time and did all the side missions.

Feel like it's become part of my life 😂 What a game. Beautiful everything and worth the wait after being delayed untill last year for release. I even watched the 30 minute credits just to appreciate everyone who has put so much work and time into making this masterpiece. One of my favourite games of all time. Well deserving of 10/10

I wanna be a robot

I have just got over the emotion and adrenaline rush from finishing this game. Completed this in two days which for me is really saying something. The gameplay and story is something else. Any game that can emotionally move me and makes me reconsider humanity gets a 10/10

Worth every penny and more. You have to play this!!!!

Never been so angry or disappointed in a film...EVER
20 January 2018
I completely jinxed this movie by saying how good it was halfway through.

I've seen some pretty horrendous horror films in my lifetime, but you expect them to be horrendous because they are what they say on the tin. Cheap and easy.

This film is the opposite, it's deceptive and not in a "ahhh wasn't expecting that" sort of way. More a feeling of being completely ripped off and dissatisfied kinda way. We honestly really enjoyed a good majority of this film, so many things that look like they're building up to a really good twist at the end. Mysterious characters, red herrings, things that could be linked together in a really cool way.

How naive and utterly wrong we were.

There is no point to this film. Literally, why was this film made? It's like they employed a really good writer for the first half of the film who put together a brilliant structure and then some idiot decided to take over and realised he/she was in over their head. By the last shot I was honestly screaming "DO NOT ROLL CREDITS" and my sister had to restrain me when the goddam screen went black.

This review may seem extra, but I have never been so angry, frustrated and disappointed by a potentially great film.

I urge you not to waste your time.

I have to go cool off and try and forget the fact I ever watched this piece of rubbish.
