Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden (2012)
Bin Laden is dead!
That is why I rate this movie a 10!!! I found it interesting and waiting to see the actual prep for the raid, the planning and final win was enough to keep me watching from beginning to end. Good movie. Informative and I thought the real life political snapshots were interesting and a good add. Good job!
Selena (1997)
Music, Fashion, Dancing
I loved her music. All the songs were a hit in this movie and I liked the acting and dancing too! Jennifer Lopez, she looked beautiful and really embraced the character and charm of Selena Quintanilla. Her transition from English to Spanish was really interesting and the end broke my heart. A true Latina Musical and Fashion legend, Selena will always be remembered for her hard work, talent and dedication to her family, friends and especially her fans. I bought the movie and watch it often.
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
I am addicted
My only complaint about this movie is that I became so addicted to it, that I had to buy it! I can watch it over and over again.
American Made (2017)
I loved it!!!
Being a US Citizen and remembering this era in history, the real life clips that were included and the story kept me interested from beginning to end. I have family from Nicaragua and Panama, which really kept me intensely watching verifying through the movie, yes, this happened. Oh, I remember that. This scene is perfect! Whether it be Noriega, the cartel, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, so many true life characters, I really enjoyed the movie. Some comedy, some "oh, you deserved that", Tom Cruise nailed it! Great movie!
The Conjuring (2013)
Based on a true story
Based on a true story is what caught my attention to this movie. The acting was awesome. Lots of mystery and questions unanswered where a sweet and loving family move into a home to get a fresh new start. The home has history and from there on, the thriller begins. Be ready to be filled with surprises. Worry about the characters and pray that they each make it out alive. A bit of "The Exorcist" and part "Amityville Horror". It is unbelievable, gory, suspenseful. A perfect Halloween movie.
I Am Mother (2019)
Hillary Swank
It drew my attention to watch this movie being a fan of Hillary Swank. The storyline was odd and watching the baby grow was both sweet and cute. Things go terribly wrong when a human from the outside is let in to their private world. From that point on, the action begins.
Bird Box (2018)
Not like any other movie I've seen
Mysterious. Fear of the unknown in a vast majority of the movie. The fear of light and whatever is out there keeps you wondering throughout the movie if whatever it is, is ever going to come out and kill your craving and desire to see what they are so afraid of. Will it ever attack? You sit at the end of your seat and you so want to take those blindfolds off of the children and free them of this awful life where play doesn't exist. No, not like any other movie I've seen before.
