Palthu Janwar (2022)

Utter waste of time

Such a waste of time and utter boredom. There are lot of very simple good movies in Malayalam, but this is not one of them. No story line is acceptable, given the film makers will give the audience something to cheer or keep engaged. Here what you get is a big zero-oh sorry there is this one song at the end which has nothing to do with this movie than to misguide people with its snippets and make them believe there is something in it for kids.

If you really bored and nothing to do, its better to pass your time counting a bowl of rice than watching this 2 hour torture.

I hope more 1 rating will come to bring down the nonsense 7.5 created by giving 10 out of 10 probably by the film makers, their, relatives and friends.

Hridayam (2022)

9 rating is on over hype

For me a 9 rating is way over hyped. It was too long and boring at times. The first half was total cliche and the second half dint have much stuff. However the charactor darshana, and her performance is outstanding. Pranav is way better than his intial movies.

But at the end i felt the movie just hollow and reminded me the director's first movie malarvadi arts club. One extra star for the performance of Darsana.

Kuruthi (2021)

Good thriller

Very good thriller. Leave your political inclination, if any, apart and watch. Unlike, the much hyped but boring and disappointing malik, this is a good entertainer too.

If you are looking for a critical acclaimed movie, give a try and judge yourself. But if you are a general movie watching person like most of the viewers, this is an utter disappointment. Completely unsatisfying and bad guys win movie. Unfortunately, for me the movie left anger and disappointment. Its absolutely not a biography. But a fiction in the backdrop of some true incident. What a waste.

Boss Level (2020)

Very entertaining and a good fun movie

After reading the plot, I thought - hey is this going to be like End of Tomorrow? After watching the movie I said - No its not. Boss baby is definitely a very entertaining movie with its flaws here and there. It is action packed and funny. It was a good feel to watch such a movie in the movie scarce, pandemic era. The actor did a good job too for his role. But the language is a bit too offensive for children to watch. And there are violence too.

Drishyam 2 (2021)

First half was dragging and bit boring, but the the last 30 minutes made it up

The first one 90 minutes or so was kind of slow and dragging to me and the people around me watching. But the last 30 minutes made it all up. The twist was awesome and clever. I think this movie could've been more crisp and better if was cut short by 30 minutes.

Vivarium (2019)

boring, disappointing, angry and depressed

It was definitely one of the worst movie experience I ever had. Watched after seeing the trailer. It was extremely boring, but I kept the nerve and continued watching with hope, to understand what this crap is all about. But the ending is not only as bad as the entire movie but feels incomplete and hence may make you angry also. Nothing made any sense. In between i tried snaks, whiskey, toilet breaks etc to help me go through this torture. Again, if you decide to continue watching like me to see something will be there at the end of the movie, let me tell you, BOY THERE IS NOTHING.

Black and Blue (I) (2019)

Very decent triller

I kept this movie aside for quite sometime reading the poor reviews. I watched it after the recommendation of a friend. The movie was a pleasant surprise. A very good thriller with good suspense. Also, I learned that I shouldn't be always falling for the negative comments of users. Many of them gave negative review as the cops were shown as the criminals. But then there are good and bad people among priests also.

Mulan (2020)

Extremely disappointing

I have watched this movie with my family in my dedicated home theatre room on a projector screen. Why I said this is that the movie experience was somewhat close to watching at a regular theatre. Unfortunately not even my kids enjoy this movie. At least I was expecting some decent fights which was not there. Jet li was just for name sake. There wasn't much role for donny Yen also. I did not feel it unbearable, but there was no grace or charm. From Disney movies I generally expect more, at least for my kids.

Bad Samaritan (2018)

Very good thriller.

This movie was a good break for me after watching quite a few unimpressive movies lately. The movie has a good pace, and never felt dragged at any point. The performance of the main cast were good too. Definitely worth a watch.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Disappointed... utterly

This was such a disappointment for me. Pathetic plot and definitely not what i expected from a fast and furious movie. In fact the movie is not at all related to the first 2-3 fast & furious movies. Just 2 actors., Who eventually came to the series, with a completely off the grid story line. Had hopes seeing the latest good reviews, but it was a boring one atleast for me. ~Yes, there were some moments that made me laugh, but that was not enough to keep on going till the very end of this torture. After Tokyo drift, this is the next bad one.

Pulimurugan (2016)

Great action sequences but thats all

Apart from the great action sequences and need not have to mention - great performance by Mohanlal, there is nothing i felt in this movie appealing. I felt the story line so hollow and even irritating at times. There was no harmony in how the story developes. Nothing special on either direction or screen play.
