Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke are great in this movie. Two strangers connecting in a beautiful way. No convoluted plot here. This movie shows that honest-to-goodness rapport, and conversations that probe while at the same time amuses are still tops. Lasting memories are made of this.
You end up wondering and yearning for the kind of time shared by Delpy and Hawke with each other. What would you have done differently? Probably nothing. In this day and age where romance is equated with material things, it shows that things need not be complicated or pricey. It's courtship at its purist and at its best.
