Solid alien vs predator movie
18 March 2021
Not the best nor the worst of the alien vs predator movies. Quite forgettable but entertains the entire run time. This movie gets unfair flak IMHO.

Fun and forgettable
15 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It is a movie starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. You know what you get. Fun and entirely forgettable. The prison interrogation scene and the pony in the garage scene made me laugh my heart out. Snoop dog is miscast. Have not seen the TV show it is based on, so can't say how much it resembles the original

Woke cringe fest
28 March 2020
I dont even know where to start... It's a zombie movie so I guess the historically inaccurate mixed race platoon of soldiers can be forgiven, but being neither a good war movie nor a good horror movie can not. Paperthin characters, and a totally forgettable villan can not be forgiven by only a good start scene and no other memorable scenes. "Outpost" was bad, yet miles ahead of this highbudget snoozefest, as it had charm. Even the monsters in this movie are boring and not the least scary. Avoid.

Different from the book, but good
1 March 2020
It started out excellent, but after a few episodes it divert from the book, probably to extend it to ten episodes. Nevertheless it is a good show. Casting is great, and it keeps the tension and keeps you interested even if you have read the book

Zombies on Mars
6 August 2019
A Mars mission movie meets a zombie movie. You know the rest. But done quite well.

Fun, but major plot holes
1 August 2019
I do not understand the level of hate this film gets. We're not talking Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings here in terms of production value, but neither are the plot holes. Cough * GoT * cough. And taking into consideration that the film is from 2000 it's quite acceptable, to me. Jeremy Irons is good as the evil mage, and the mood of the film captures the D&D mood quite well.
