Funny and meaningful
2 January 2021
Light movie that kept me on the edge of my seat for most of the scenes. It's funny enough to make you laugh to tears and deep enough to make you cry a little more.

A much needed documentary
28 December 2013
The photography captures well the importance of this subject and the documentary is a much needed piece in the storytelling of the post- revolution events. A first person retell of the events that marked the lives of a generation and dictated the future of Portugal and it's African ex-colonies. It sheds light into the past but also into the present and the tense relationships between our countries. Although I do not know the work from this director/producer, the scene was set out straight and the story line builds up both in emotions and with the weight of the words that we hear. The interviewee is a natural orator and guides us through his experience in a passionate and open way, revealing facts and stories that unveil a past that is never forgotten.
