Constellation: These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruin (2024)
Garbage
Sadly, this episode does nothing to answer any of the questions brought up in the show. The only reason I tuned in was for answers but got none in this boring and useless finale. It's a terrible show and I really hope it does not get a second season. I certainly won't be tuning in
Even if the only aim of the show was for it to be a horror show, it still leaves far too many aspects of the story unaddressed.
In addition to feeling to a ridiculous plot, the show also fails to make us care for any of its characters.
All in all a complete waste of time.
Avoid it like the plague, however, if you are reading this review of the final episode, it means you may have made the same mistake as me and stuck in there, hoping for a pay off to be let down with none.
Shrinking: Closure (2023)
Loses its way at the end
From being a quirky and edgy kind of show, the finale feels very flat and one dimensional, syrupy sweet and lacking in what made this show unique.
Disappointing ending. And the twist at the end does nothing to save it.
What I liked initially about the show was that it focused on individuals, not groups and couples but by the end everyone has paired up and left the viewers with only the option to cheer them on.
Will I tune in for season 2? Maybe, but only because of the unexpected ending (that does nothing to save the finale but at least adds a little intrigue to an otherwise predictable and boring ending).
Euphoria: The Theater and Its Double (2022)
Sign of a show that's lost it's way
Love this show but this episode is one of the worst I have seen in any show, leave along being the worst in this show so far. Very disappointed. Slow and dragging with no saving graces, not to mention shockingly unrealistic (which high school would stage this kind of play)? And the homophobic gym scene? Not to mention how damned boring the play is. Who would be interested apart from those directly related to Lexi? Don't have much hope for the finale next week and either way I'm out after that.
The Leftovers (2014)
Brilliant show.......and fantastic last season
More a parable than a story, this show deals with the psychological impact of loss and the difficulties of dealing with love and connection. Kudos to the directors and all the actors for so aptly weaving all the threads of into a tightly crafted and neat conclusion - a brilliant final season and a must watch!!!
