Your Highness (2011)
Soooooo stupid.
Really bad. Couldn't even finish. Mad at all those involved in movie. Worst movie you will ever not finish watching. Your welcome.
The Leftovers (2014)
Really good.
Really like the show. Was maybe a tad bit disappointed in the last season, but whatever. The last couple of minutes in the finally make up for what was missing.
Lemon (2017)
You won't like it.
I have never been SO fooled by a trailer in my life. I love just about every single person in this movie, and am sorry they felt like being apart of this project was a good idea. Meningless, boring, stupid, not at all funny.
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Artsy fartsy
This was a 2 hour, 40 minute movie that should have been an hour and a half. David Lynch couldn't have stretched this movie out any longer. If you wanna watch this, my advice is make sure you have absolutely nothing to do for three hours, loved the first movie, and have gotten at least 12 hours of sleep.
Jesus' Son (1999)
aaaaaaand.....ya lost me.
Being a fan of Jack Black, and trying to see all of his work, I decided to give this a try. He was actually only in it for maybe 20 minutes or so, but it was a good performance. Even when his parts were done, I was still very drawn in by the main story. Without going into the story itself, all I can tell you is that I was enjoying myself. I was being entertained and was curious to see the conclusion. After I was about two thirds of the way through. Everything really (and here come the spoilers) got stupid. The third act started with the main guy finding his girlfriend overdosing, she dies, eats her note, follows a guy into a laundry place, wonders if he is having a "I might be gay minute", goes to rehab where he shaves Dennis Hopper, watches some Amish woman sing in her shower, hangs out inside and outside her house, meets another woman whose boyfriends keep dying, and then works at a mental hospital where he learns to touch people. Its like they just put in all this "stuff" for him to do. Made no sense and made the move suck.
Nurse Jackie (2009)
still love the show after season 5
I noticed a lot of bad reviews from the boards concerning the last few seasons and Im surprised so many people feel the same way. I know the show has changed since its inception, but its still good. Maybe its because I'm watching whole seasons every year in just a few days, but I don't really see any "downfall" with the writing. What happened at the end of the 5th season was perfect. It made me laugh, gasp, and cringe all at the same time. I never saw it coming. The show did seem to really slow down around season 2 and 3, but its back and I'm glad i stuck with it. Say what you want about the show being boring, I still love it. Cant wait for next season to see what happens. I also wouldn't mind if it ended after season 6, but if it goes 7, that would be perfect.
A Serious Man (2009)
Love/Hate about the Coens
The Cone brothers are unique like few directors. Their different. They obviously could give a rats about the way a movie "should be made", (by Hollywood standards), and more about telling a story and leaving it up the viewer to deceiver the outcome. I love them for that. The thing about it is, for me anyway, is the way they simply end stories at some random point beyond explanation. A Serious Man was a great move. The ending was so over the top, even for them, that it makes me wonder if now their just trying to jerk me around. Barton Fink, The Hudsucker Proxy, No Country for Old Men, all ended poorly. They need to give us something to help us out a little, instead of just letting us come up with our own conclusion. Burn After Reading ended as if they had run out of money or something and just thought, OK, we'll just explain in 20 seconds what happened and that will be it. I'm all for different. Just not different for different sake.
Meet the Fockers (2004)
Juuuuuuuuuuust saw the movie, .....aaaaaaaaaaand............................
well, it didn't suck, but was not that good. (kinda sucked) Thought I would love it and kept waiting to, ......but the credits eventually ran after almost 2 hours and i was kind of like, well, that was the movie i guess, and, now,....its ending. If you want to watch at the theater, go to the early, otherwise video or DVD it. No matter what you hear, this movie was NOT as funny as the first, not even close. One really funny scene, that frankly seemed a little forced, and that was it. As far as a story, well, they got married, .....and, they,.....were,..... married, together,..... finally, at the end. very disappointing. look for Meet the Baby or something in the next year or two, that will really really suck and make millions.
Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003)
the bathroom scene is enough to get this movie a good rating
I just watched this movie within the last week or so even though MOST people I asked told me it wasn't THAT good (bottom 100 on IMDb) and I couldn't believe I was watching the same movie. This movie was FUNNY, REALLY FUNNY, way better than i expected. There are at LEAST 10 or more laugh out loud moments. All I can say is that most people must have been in bad moods when they saw this movie, (or was I in a really good mood) or they just wanted to see jeff danials and jim carry again. No friken way this movie is one of the worst movies EVER. This comment is mostly for anyone who can vote on this site to tell them to get this movie off the bottom 100. Anyone who wants to see this movie but have heard bad things about it, give it a chance.
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)
will? what have you done?
Don't get me wrong, i think will ferrel is one of the funnest people on the planet. As a matter of fact, I really do wish I thought this movie was as funny as the rest of you, but frankly, i thought 90% of it sucked. Maybe even a little more. An hour and a half Saturday night live skit is all this was. I like will ferrell a lot, or maybe i just thought i did, but he couldn't hold this sorry excuse for a movie together, even if he can get jack black, Luke Wilson, vince vaughn, and ben stiller to try and help out by doing cameos. I should recommend this movie i guess, but only if you can get for free. If you haven't seen old school yet, try that first. At least they had a story for that one.
