This series is a gem and I was beyond delighted upon noticing a new season. Phil is his usual likable self and the exotic food + display of Oaxaca and Mexican culture is amazing. Also a great cameo from Jimmi Simpson (Liam Mcpoyle from Sunny in Philadelphia, dude's hilarious)

I never write reviews but felt compelled to with this film as it deserves more than the ignorance spewed in the one and only review so far. This is an extremely candid documentary, as advertised. These men didn't choose to go to war, politicians made that decision for them, and they simply answered the call. Those that have the audacity to slander our soldiers need to realize that if they weren't brave enough to volunteer in the first place, a draft is a possible scenario and I guarantee those spewing hate would be the first to s*** their pants and commend the heroes that willingly put their lives on the line so that civilians like them don't have to.
An absolute masterpiece

I stumbled across this late on a Friday night. The last war documentary that I'd seen was Peter Jackson's "They Shall Not Grow Old" and I had been yearning for a similar experience ever since. Well, safe to say-- I found it. This is an enthralling watch. The colorization of such massively historical events allows us viewers 70+ years later to empathize in an unimaginable way, and is careful enough to give us fresh insight into perspectives from both sides. Well done to all involved. Netflix in my opinion is hit or miss but this is without a doubt as good as it gets. Top class. A real tribute to the heroic men and women of that generation.
Side note: Pay no heed to the so-called political connotations suggested by other reviewers. Having watched the entire series through, my mind never once went there, I was too enraptured by the images and the quality on display. It in no way detracts from the documentary itself, if you're reading this prior to watching don't let such comments dismay you. I couldn't recommend this film highly enough.

Fun little show

I'm somewhat surprised there aren't any user reviews for this show. My 3 year old son loves Beat Bugs. I like how they incorporate classic Beatles songs into their episodes. I think that is a clever touch and unique in this age of TV. There aren't really any annoying characters either and the writing isn't as cringy as a lot of kid's shows nowadays.
Utterly Speechless

Wow. Just... wow. 43 minutes of sheer perfection. One of the most powerful episodes of television I've ever seen, and I've seen my fair share. The acting, the music, the flashbacks, the ending. It's all so, so beautiful, yet so terribly gut-wrenching. I felt numb during the last 5- 10 minutes, overcome with emotion. Tears were streaming down my cheeks when the credits rolled, and my wife couldn't help but laugh. But I didn't care. This episode touched my soul, it's still on my mind nearly 6 hours later. I'll probably lose some sleep over it honestly, but oh well. It was worth it.
