Land of Bad (2024)

Phenomenal Action!

Ignore the bad reviews. This movie made me sit at the edge of my seat. Been a while since I saw an action movie this good! The camera angles, sound effects and direction is just top notch! It had a lot of stealth elements as well which really catches my attention; felt more like a Splinter Cell Ops military action movie. If you're into stealth, action, and great effects, then this movie is for you. Find some of the reviews here quite hilarious where they state there wasn't enough emotion. This isn't a love movie for Pete's sake! Look at it as an action flick and you'll dig every moment of it! Totally loved it, must watch!

Toby (2023)

Absolute Masterpiece!

One among the best of Kannada movies in 2023. The BGV, acting, cinematography, etc., are just unparallel. Story clinches to you and every actor literally lived the role. I've always said this and will still say it again - KFI must learn from the Shetty group (Raj Shetty, Rishabh Shetty, and Rakshith Shetty) on how to make great Kannada movies. I don't want to watch any other Kannada movies apart from those of the Shetty group as the other movies are just a one-man show for mass leverage. If Kannada movies need to reach better standards like Malayalam movies, KFI must learn to change the current ridiculous mass leveraging trend movies, to what the Shetty group does.

Absolutely outstanding movie. A must watch for every Kannada movie buff! Totally caught me and stood with me the whole time!

Ghost (IV) (2023)

Abysmal!

I'm an immense supporter of Kannada movies, but it's hard to continue this when movies like this are being released. Absolutely abysmal! It's about time KFI takes stock of the situation and stop these ridiculous one-man shows to over glorify these so-called mass actors. This movie is yet another one-man show. The story is below average, ZERO logic, and the production team tries to make it look like some ISRO project, whereas, it's just a cluster of a mess! Gone are the days where we had great Kannada movies with a wonderful story line, something we'd remember for long after the movie, to the point that we would want to watch it again. It's also about time that veteran actors like Shivrajkumar, Sudeep, Darshan etc., stop these one-man shows to only satiate a group of certain people who ordain rowdyism and violence. To the educated and cultured crowd, this is simply unacceptable and far from logic. Maybe that's the only crowd you want, who knows!

Learn a thing or 2 from the Shetty group - Raj, Rishabh, and Rakshit Shetty. They make good movies with a story to remember. 777 Charlie is one among many! I will no longer step into a theater to watch movies of these so called "Mass" heroes. Ridiculous to spend so much money buying PVR tickets to ensure Kannada movies are promoted, only to see this abysmal excuse for a movie!

Top Movie!

Top movie! Great story, direction and acting. The gentleman 'Mo' is an extraordinary actor. Gerard needs no explanation, he is always exemplary. This movie engrossed with the camera work and Arabian background music which made it feel so real. I felt like I was captured and trying to find my way out of there. Absolutely loved it! If you like spy movies where you get caught, and need to find your way out amidst all traitors around you, this movie is for you. There are many movies with almost the same storyline but what makes this different is its reality direction and action. You'd never feel like it was made for the heck of completing a project! Brilliant! Don't miss it!

Kabzaa (2023)

Stop Glorifying Rowdyism!

Another Kannada movie glorifying rowdyism! No wonder the youngsters in our society are heading the wrong direction! When will this end?? Are Directors, Producers, and actors incapable of making something sensible, which can put on a good show, and also inculcate good values?? This movie is an utter mindboggling ridicule to anyone who is sane. I cannot fathom how the Kannada movie industry has turned into. What's even more agonizing is famous actors who are well aware of such movies destroying the society, still continue to act in such movies only to satiate their cheap fan base!

Please STOP this nonsense else Kannada movies will earn a name of being nothing but trash!

The Whale (2022)

Absolutely Speechless!

This is probably the best movie I've ever watched, and I cannot imagine every award not going to everyone here, especially Brendan. Probably the best performance of his career. He needs no attestation, but this performance just proved how brilliant he is as an actor. I felt every dialogue, emotion, pain etc., pierce through my heart. It was so real that I felt I was there, living through every moment.

If this movie and its cast doesn't win awards for the best in everything, I no longer believe in the entire award system, period! Hands down the best movie I've seen in a while. I cannot write anymore as I'm left speechless. Thank you for a wonderful movie, and a performance of a lifetime.

All I can say to those who are thinking to watch this - JUST WATCH IT!

Knock at the Cabin (2023)

Lame!!

I know M. Night Shyamalan tries to make his movies like its some kind of out of the world thing, but this is just another failure. The movie has ZERO logic, absolutely lame story and ridiculous narration! I mean, what in the world did I just watch?? The actors did a great job to keep it rolling but sorry, this is just so lame that it had me wondering if everyone was high on something in taking this up! For the love of God, M. Night Shyamalan, please stop making such movies. I know you're a good director but your movies are so lame to watch. Unrealistic, illogical and least to say, ridiculous. I need my time and money back!

Emancipation (2022)

One Word - Brilliant!

For those who love stories of fight against slavery and eventually getting Freedom, this movie is for you. Probably the best Will Smith performance I've ever seen. Every scene sent chills to my bones! Some here complain that it's black and white, not all of the movie is the same. Besides that, you cannot expect a movie about history to display like animation! It has to have a touch of historical view. The background music, camera angles, direction etc...everything is just top notch. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen. Every word and dialogue was deep. Ignore the haters, this one is a MUST WATCH!

777 Charlie (2022)

Probably the best movie ever for Dog lovers!

I have no words to describe this movie. Cutting it short by just this statement - The greatest movie ever for dog lovers. Go and see it, feel it, experience every moment. It's nothing short of sheer brilliance! Felt every emotion - humor, joy, guilt, sadness etc. The message is also wonderful for those who don't know much about dog care. I must admit I was in tears towards the end as it reminded me of my darling 'Sasha', when I lost her when I was young. I cried for long, never went to school for a week, but gathered the strength to move on when my Dad got home another pup.

Thank you for making me so happy and touched!

Kotigobba 3 (2021)

Absolute Trash!

Can always expect trash from Rockline Venkatesh, but Never knew Sudeep can go this low. I have never seen such a crap movie in the recent past. KFI standards have gone to the gutter. Unless you're someone who lives in a fantasy world, this movie will seem absolutely illogical, unrealistic and ridiculous. They need to pay me for watching this trash.

Unrealistic and a plethora of Cringe moments~

Ok, the action was fine, I'll give 5 for that (though unrealistic, at least didn't look like a $2 CGI). The acting and dialogues are so cringe worthy that Japanese erotic movies would seem more real!

Blood Red Sky (2021)

One of the best Vampire movies with a great story

Totally loved this movie. Thank goodness it wasn't one of those comedy vampire movies. This one had a great touching story, fantastic vampire action shots and edge of the seat thrilling moments. I felt the connection between mother and son really touching. Farid's role was also fantastic, good actor.

If you're looking for a hijacking movie with some great vampire action, this movie is for you! 10/10 for me. I feel rating this any lower is not justice to the efforts put in by everyone.

The Tomorrow War (2021)

Haters can kick rocks!

Saw this movie today and I assure you as a sci-fi fan who loves Alien movies, this will not disappoint you! I have no idea how the IMDB rating is not above 8 for this movie. Probably it's due to all these so called critics who cannot just sit back and enjoy a great movie. The action, CGI, sound effects, camera angles etc.. Everything is just top notch! If you're a fan of movies based on Aliens, this is a MUST WATCH! Please ignore all the haters and low ballers, you're going to miss the best Alien-action movie if you stick to their reviews. Grab some popcorn, turn on your 8.1 surround, put this on a large screen, and get ready for some edge of the seat action! HAVE FUN!

Top Movie!

This is how KFI should proceed forward. Not the usual movies that promote rowdyism. This movie was so fantastic that I couldn't believe that it was actually a Kannada movie. Great story that empowers common men, all about the corruption in the system and how it influences the general public. If Kannada film makers continue to make movies like this, I support KFI. Not rubbish like Pogaru. Roberrt etc...

The Misfits (2021)

Don't know what's all the low scores about!

Don't understand all the hate and low scores here. If you're in for a movie with loads of action, some humor, great camera work, music etc.., then this one is for you. It's more like Oceans 11. I liked it and certainly had a great time seeing Abhu Dhabi, a place I spent most of my childhood.

Mortal Kombat (2021)

Enjoyable!

If you're a Mortal Kombat fan, you'll really enjoy this. Don't think too much of the story and look at it as a critic, but just watch it as you would've enjoyed any Mortal Kombat movie as a kid. The action scenes, direction and fights are fantastic! I really enjoyed it!

This movie is the real meaning of the fantasy life in Dubai and how people fall prey to it. Barkhad Abdi's performance as always was a blinder! The other guy who acted with him was also brilliant. It really gets into your skin and makes you think if you really made a wise decision of leaving your motherland, just for this so called 'fantasy world of Dubai' to make money. Highly recommended! Total Gem!

Honest Thief (2020)

Always at his best!

One hell of a joy ride and Liam Neeson as usual, his very best! This is action packed with great background music and thank goodness it wasn't any shaky camera production. Thoroughly enjoyed this! Goes without saying that when Liam says "I'm coming for you!", you're watching the right Liam movie!

Certainly recommend this for those who love action thrillers!

I know Karnataka is beautiful but after seeing this, I can say it's heaven on Earth. This documentary covers some of the most beautiful and unseen areas of Karnataka. David's voice with it just made Angels communicate in heaven. Without a shadow of doubt, the best documentary I've ever seen till date.

I don't care what anyone says this is a fantastic Sci-Fi action thriller! 2 hours where I did'n't get my eyes off the screen. The movie really takes you into it. CGI is great and the action is brilliant!

Folks, Ignore all the negative reviews and just watch this movie in the blink of an eye! I watched it last night and was right at the edge of my seat!!! Full of action! Chris as always, burnt the screen with his sheer brilliance, and the Indian kid who acted with him was also great!

If you like action movies with some great thriller moments, DO NOT MISS THIS! PERIOD!

Jojo Rabbit (2019)

Snore Fest

Don't know who's paying for these reviews. I'm stuck at home due to Covid-19 but still prefer to do nothing than watch this snore fest. I've never seen something as stupid and ridiculous to the extent that it's not even funny if it was made for just comedy.

To conclude, this movie is the only cure to Insomnia.

Another Trash!

When will Salman Khan ever grow up and get over his tiny D%k syndrome?!! All his movies are a whole load of crap, trying to prove himself to be Alpha male. Cannot act or even act in a sensible movie. The only saving grace in this movie is the villain (Kicha Sudeep), but even his brilliance is being overlapped by the utter atrocity of Salman's antics!

This movie is not even worth watching free of cost online!
