A feel good show

I used to be a fan of the TBBT. I enjoyed the show until season 6. But I lost interest after that. Sheldon Cooper is a Pop-culture icon and YS serving him right. Positives includes the cast except the mom. Her acting is fine, but god when she starts whining, it's so annoying to see. She annoys the hell out of me.

Justice League (2017)

Majestic in every aspect

I waited for 6 hours in a theater to catch the premiere. It was all worth it. Everyone's saying that this movie managed to capture the tone of the MCU movies. You couldn't be more wrong. This movie successfully captured the tone of the DCAU shows like Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. I strongly believe, DC finally managed to successfully capture the tone of their upcoming movies. If they use this as a foundation for their future movies, they could be as popular as Marvel in the next 5 years. This movie was a blast from start to finish. It was like watching a 2 hours DC animated movie. I'm gonna watch this movie at least 5 times in the theater. Be sure you watch this movie on IMAX. There are some Snyder shots that you have to see it on IMAX to experience the best of it. In the last decade, Marvel managed to surpass DC with their MCU. But DC has been the successful franchise since late 1970's. It's about time DC is getting their glory back.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

One of a Kind

If we judge the quality of Marvel movies regarding pure entertainment, Ragnarok is easily one of the best Marvel movie yet. It is filled with Laugh Out Loud moments and stuffed with emotions. This movie also solves the villain problems of Marvel, all thanks to the brilliant performance by Cate Blanchett. This is probably best portrayal from Chris Hemsworth yet after his movie Rush. One of the biggest positives of the movie is it has the right amount of known/beloved characters and new/exciting characters. However, as a negative aspect of this movie, I would say this is the most Marvelish movie yet. They treat everything as an opportunity for a goof. However, thanks to the chemistry between Hulk-Thor-Loki, it will be a stand-out movie in the highly crowded MCU. To sum it up this movie was a riot from start to finish. Audiences are going to love this movie. I hope it sustains its run when Justice League drops in the theaters.

Inhumans (2017)

Can't believe I wasted my money on this sh*t

This is easily one of the worst thing that ever came out of marvel or comic books in general. It's not just bad, it is batman and robin bad. Horrible to watch. I can't believe Marvel wasted Iwan Rheon on this travesty. I should have gone to Dunkirk for the third time instead of watching this. I'm very disappointed at marvel.

Dunkirk (2017)

Oscar Worthy Period.

At this point, Nolan can make a Smurfs movie, and people are gonna still buy tickets and watch it. I'm not really into war movies, but I have seen war movies before like Saving Private Ryan and Hurt Locker. But no other movie in the world packs this much intensity. You know nothing about a character, you have no reason to like him, but you would still want him to survive. That's Nolan's magic. Previously Nolan set a benchmark for the Superhero movies, Mind benders, Sci-fi and now for War movies. Nolan and Zimmer worked in tandem to deliver a masterpiece that will set a standard for future war movies. This is probably the best cinematic experience I have ever experienced since Avatar. You will cry you will laugh, and you will awe every shot by Nolan. I hope Nolan and Zimmer will win Golden Globes and Oscar for this movie. I don't think anyone even deserves it more than these two do for this year.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Spider-man 2 is still the best

Yes. This may be a great coming of age movie, and a great superhero movie but not the greatest spider-man movie. I'm not being stubborn here about the classic. I've seen reviews saying it is the best Spider- man movie ever. I can't agree with that because the villain and some supporting characters are so underdeveloped. Tom Holland tries a ultimate spider-man style but in the end all we get is the Kung-fu Panda version of spider-man. It was fun in civil war because it was short but here he keeps whining about it almost every minute when he was Peter Parker. In overall, this is just another MCU popcorn movie. It's entertaining as hell, good to re-watch on Blu-ray and keep it in your MCU collection. BTW, Tony stark was awesome once again.

Iron Fist (2017–2018)

Worst addition to Marvel/Netflix

As a regular reader of Comics, I'm disappointed with this show. I'm not an SJW or anything, but this show fails to stay faithful to its origin and rips off from Batman, Iron man and Green Arrow comics. The episodes feel like a CW soap opera. I finished watching the first five episodes, and I can't get past the episode 5. Some scenes are poorly acted and a torrid experience to watch. Even a die hard Marvel fans will hate this show. I don't know this if it is superhero fatigue or Netflix format fatigue, I just can't involve with the show. The pacing is poor, and I swear you would hate to binge watch it. It sets up very well for the defender's TV show and here's hoping it will be better.

Batman Unlimited: Mechs vs. Mutants (2016 Video)

Batman Unlimited: Mech vs. Mutants is a fun filled film with a lot of one- liners. This movie is filled with a lot of Batman villains. What more could you ask for?. And yes, there were some really great Batman toys. You will be surprised by some of them. This movie is filled with awesome scenes. The voice cast was also awesome. We can see some of the biggest names in the cast list. The penguin and killer croc (voiced by DiMaggio) are my favorites in this movie. And finally, this is the Mr. Freeze version we all have been waiting for. Although I thought the ending could have been better.It definitely worth watching. My rating-"Impressive" 9.5/10

Batman: The Killing Joke (2016)

Too much Batgirl and Too little Joker

Mark and Kevin are my favorite voice actors and their combination for this greatest comics of all time made me excited about this prospect and what are all the things it is capable of achieving. I thought there is no way they could screw up such a great plot. But somehow they did screw it up. They mess things up by adding too much of Bat girl and not too much Joker. The plot of the movie starts after 30 minutes, from there it gets better thanks to Mark's brilliant voice acting. Even the climax & flash back fails to capture the essence of Alan Moore's greatest work. They should have made this a 30-minute movie and left out the Bat girl sequences.

Best SCI-FI ever from India

As a doctor who fan, I thought the time traveling elements in the show could one day be matched in Tamil film industry. This movie came very close to it. Excellent writing and acting pave way for a new darling for critics. I really liked Surya's Psychotic killer role than his other two. As the negatives, I could say the romance and songs killed my mood multiple times. Songs are pure time dragging (Yes I know it is ARR). But I do understand the need for commercial elements. They should have released a shorter version of the movie in oversees without all that romance crap for the international audience. Overall, this movie is gold and the best ever from the actor we all admire. My rating would be 8.4/10

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Below Dark Knight and above Winter Soldier

Is this the best comic book movie ever? It was close. But I don't think MCU will ever surpass a movie like Dark knight. But this is the best Marvel movie ever. To be honest this is how BvS should have been. I like DC universe more than marvel. But I like Marvel movies because it entertains and MCU took the comic book adapted movies to another level. It hit the right notes and the right mix of the emotions really work for the movie. BvS didn't quite get it right. Civil war is supposed to be a serious dark movie and one of the best Marvel comics have to offer (Seems like marvel is concentrating on movies and left comics for dead. The quality of marvel comics dipped recently, DC too but the Injustice is really good). But it fulfills the latter part only. It does have some negatives like some poor CGI shots, Average villain and sometimes the comedy ruins serious scenes. But it got too many elements that work, like the climax, spider-man, black panther, the rivalry and ending credits (oh yeah). Will it entertain you- HELL yes. Is this the best MCU movie ever- HELL yeah. Is this the best comic book movie ever?- Nope. Overall: Worth a watch in theaters and buy the blue-ray when it releases and keep it in your favorite movie collections. 8.5/10.
