Before this film did not know anything about its director, except that it is his debut feature film. And I must say, the debut was a success. It's not even famous actors, decorated the film with his presence, and only reinforce the impression from watching his game. Hesher - movie, thought-provoking, making you empathize with characters. It talks about serious things, while there is a place and sense of humor.

Many people, losing a loved one, loved one, turn in on themselves in their grief, forget about those who live nearby and who may be need their help. Such is the father of Jay Tee, who lost his wife. And boy, left alone with their problems and their grief, do not know how to reach him, to attract his attention.

Hesher - arrogant, boorish, sometimes just unbearable character. A sort of vicious parody of Mary Poppins, appears out of nowhere, goes nowhere. But it is exactly what was needed to father and son to perk back to life.
