Gentle, Sad, Romantic, Optimistic Love Story
14 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The last scene caused goosebumps shivers. Was u[ to totally reject this movie if the end was tragic, sad. But it wasn't. Ode to love, to all the loves that were and all the loves that are here and now.

Repulsive! Pessimistic! Dull!
11 January 2021
For those who want to read about this movie before they decide if to watch it, Don't watch it! You will feel like you had conversation with a robot, had sex with a sex doll. It is very depressive movie for which on can find no reason, why it is made. Even depression and pessimism are lifeless. Spare your self.

Mocking of Zen...or Zen is not for evreyone...
27 September 2020
I don't consider Zen or any other religion that try to finds a harmony with escaping of real, human, bustling and hectic world as right. But I respect the choice of those monks of any religion who do that. And mocking with them as this film does I find it repulsive, nihilistic and life hating....

1/10 and this is why...
19 July 2020
Having lived my childhood in communist times in Yugoslavia some parts of this movie capture that period of communism transition to a freer world... In what it fails this movie is the characters. It is exaggerated comedy, that made all the characters on screen look like idiots, crude jokes that it doesn't hit the right target, just like slapstick comedy you laugh on clumsiness, outer appearance but not on what really was bad in that system and deserved to be joked about.

Ohh this movie will kill you desire for thinking about love, having desire for making love...will drain any vital energy, sensation, thoughts about how it was/is to fall in love. One user was right, so many positive reviews for this move are from one time users just to give one "0" behind the "1" that this move deserves...

Walking on the save side on many issuese that it touches...
3 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Move is not brave enough to stir thoughts in a viewer to think about issues that it touches. Those are racism, being underdog, finding the meaning in life... It makes you feel like if you are good boy, you will get a cookie. No catharsis, no profound thoughts .Better to grow up in a ghetto and being yourself, than to sold out and to ask for approval of the society that you know it is wrong in its way of thinking...

Will retrun you back to the teenage years...
21 April 2020
It brings tender feelings, remind me of the teenage days, when you stay in front of the vast big world you are about to step in. Anxiety and awe, endless roads, endless sky, people you going to meet... Your home is becoming too small for you and you are about to sail on the river called Life... Recommend it, one of the best movies ever made.

True story not so true...
30 December 2019
Start of the movie was good but then it felt like artificially created suspension, artificially crated paranoia that it became so predictable towards the end. It was more interesting reading in internet in the news articles about the real story than this long boring movie...

Well crafted movie

Enjoy it every minute. As suspension heated up slowly...to explode at the end.

The more expensive the picture the more beautiful
25 September 2019
This movie thought me that the more expensive the picture the more beautiful and valuable as a peace of art is. (with VAT included).

Beginning provoke interest, but after while everything is predictable
9 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
It starts like a promising movie, that will offer tense atmosphere and the camera close ups of the ugly faces of the neighbors, leads to that.

But the suspension is soon gone, some illogical actions (like not calling the police even it is obvious that there is a dead old women in the apartment) than static, puppet like persons strained in this neighborhood not connected what so ever with the world outside its boundaries, stereotypes (two skinheads, worn out soldier)… So I was also stacked within those boundaries, not many questions or conflicts, left at will of the director, who doesn't care about the audience. I just watch and watch, indifferently, till it finished.

Rosemary's Baby is a good example for me, of keeping suspension and let you and the world involved in the story.

That all i have to say about this movie.
