The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (2000)
Truly amazing enchanting fantasy ever!
"The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea" is an enchanting fantasy movie set 12 years after the original "The Little Mermaid" in the mythical underwater kingdom of Atlantica. Ariel, the mermaid princess, and Eric, the human prince, have fallen in love and tied the knot. They live happily on land, and their daughter, Melody, has been born. Melody, eager to learn more about her mermaid heritage, sets out to explore the depths of the sea. Her journey turns unexpectedly when she becomes involved in a wicked plot against King Triton, Ariel's father. Melody's quest for her identity puts her and her loved ones in jeopardy. Upon hearing the news, Ariel decides to return to the sea to save her family and friends. She reunites with them under the sea and discovers that Melody has been captured by the evil Morgana, who is planning to take over the sea kingdom. Ariel must use her bravery, intelligence, and magical powers to save her daughter and foil Morgana's evil plans.
I loved "The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea." The plot is a seamless continuation of the original movie, and it takes us on an epic journey of self-discovery and belonging. The animation is breathtakingly beautiful and brings the underwater world to life. The characters are complex and well-written, and I found myself rooting for Melody as she navigated the challenges of her mermaid heritage. Melody's character is relatable and charming, and her journey is one of growth and empowerment. The interactions between Ariel and Eric are tender and heartwarming, and their love for each other is palpable. The movie is a perfect blend of adventure, romance, and nostalgia, leaving me with a sense of wonder and joy.
Evil characters can be more compelling than nice characters. Despite being evil, Morgana is my favorite. She was always overshadowed by her older sister, Ursula, who had more powers than Morgana did. Despite this, Morgana never gave up and worked hard to improve her magical abilities. I find her character very relatable as she struggled with inadequacy and insecurity. Her struggles with self-doubt and a need for validation make her a very human character and one that I can empathize with. I appreciate how Morgana was able to overcome her insecurities and become successful in her own right, proving that even if you may not be as gifted as others, hard work and perseverance can help you succeed.
If you're a fan of the original 1989 version of "The Little Mermaid," I highly recommend the new adaptation. It's a great way to relive the classic story's magic and nostalgia while enjoying a fresh and updated format. The new version retains all the beloved elements of the original while also introducing new characters, songs, and visuals that are sure to delight both old and new fans alike. Overall, it's a must-see for anyone who appreciates the timeless appeal of this beloved Disney classic.

The hunter is a formidable figure, clad in armor and armed with weapons that gleam menacingly in the dim light. He moves stealthily through the shadows, ever vigilant for any sign of danger.
The show's strengths are numerous, including its stunning animation, thrilling action sequences, and its dark, eerie atmosphere that perfectly captures the series' gothic horror roots. Additionally, the show's unique art style and haunting depiction of a demon in a church scene are noteworthy highlights that have captured the attention of many viewers.
Although some viewers have criticized the plot and dialogue, the show's well-choreographed fight scenes and the variety of iconic monsters from the games have earned it a loyal following. Moreover, the show's ability to balance quieter moments of human drama with explosive, action-packed set pieces has made it a favorite among fans of action, horror, and anime.

Blade (1998)
Awesome
"I recently watched an action/adventure horror sci-fi film called Blade, which is set in Los Angeles, California, two years before Blade II in 1998. The story revolves around Blade, a unique individual who is half-vampire and half-mortal. Despite being a vampire, Blade has dedicated his life to protecting humanity and slaying evil vampires who threaten the safety and well-being of the human race.
The movie had well-cast actors who played each role perfectly, and the fight sequences were great, keeping me on the edge of my seat. The lead character, Blade, was cool and brought a lot of charisma to the role. The movie had a good story that kept me engaged, but it didn't explore the relationship between Blade and the female character as much as I would have liked. Additionally, the final boss in the movie wasn't as impressive as I expected, which was disappointing.
On the other hand, the movie had an emotional edge that made it more than just another action flick. From the first bloodbath slasher martial arts opening scene, the movie had me hooked. I also appreciated how the movie both abandoned its comic book roots while also completely embracing them.
I would highly recommend Blade to individuals 15 years old and above. The movie features intense action scenes and graphic violence, which might not be suitable for younger audiences. However, the film's impressive visual effects, compelling storyline, and outstanding performances make it a must-watch for mature viewers. Overall, if you're a fan of the sci-fi or action genre and enjoy movies with a darker tone, then Blade is worth checking out!"
Are You Being Served? (1977)
Beautiful Masterpiece
"Are You Being Served?" is a popular British comedy series that takes place in the fictional Grace Brothers department store located in London. The show focuses on the daily lives of the employees and their regular customers who visit the retail ladies and gentlemen's clothing departments of the flagship store.
The show is known for its authentic depiction of real-life situations, and its scripts are said to reflect the reality of working in a department store. The characters are diverse and well-developed, with each bringing their unique personality and quirks to the show.
Some of the most memorable characters include Mrs. Slocombe, the head of the ladies' department, who is known for her distinctive hairstyle and colorful language. Miss Brahms, a junior sales assistant, is known for her bubbly personality and her catchy phrases.
However, my favorite character is Mr. Humphries, a senior assistant in the menswear department, who is known for his flamboyant personality and his catchphrase, "I'm free!". He is always ready to lend a helping hand to his colleagues and customers and his witty one-liners are sure to leave you in splits.
Overall, "Are You Being Served?" is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys watching comedies. The show's unique blend of humor, characters, and situations is sure to keep you entertained throughout its run.
A Raisin in the Sun (2008)
Better Than The Original
Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun is a drama set in the 1950s, sometime between the end of World War II and 1959 in the South Side of Chicago. The play follows an African-American family for a few weeks as they attempt to improve their financial situation after the death of their father, while also dealing with racism, housing discrimination, and assimilation. The family ultimately buys a home in a white neighborhood, which Hansberry fictionalizes as "Clybourne Park".
I like A Raisin in the Sun because it teaches the importance of family and that people can achieve their dreams despite oppression and lack of money. The play also shows how racial prejudice affected the prospects of urban African Americans in the 1950s, and how women were viewed at the time. My favorite character is Walter Lee Younger because he is willing to sacrifice his happiness for his family and take risks to improve their financial situation. For example, Walter takes a job as a chauffeur for a white family, even though he knows it is risky. He is also heroic because he is willing to stand up for what he believes in, even when it is unpopular. I highly recommend A Raisin in the Sun to high school readers and others who enjoy serious, thought-provoking plays and this film deserves 5 stars for pure entertainment.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
Truly awesome film
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is an explosive action/adventure film in London in 2019. The movie introduces Brixton Lorr, a cybernetically enhanced soldier with superhuman strength, a lethal pathogen capable of destroying the world, and a brilliant mind. The story follows the unlikely duo of Luke Hobbs, a hulking lawman, and Deckard Shaw, a lawless operative, who put aside their differences to stop Lorr from unleashing havoc on humanity.
I loved the film for numerous reasons. Firstly, it's a self-aware and thrilling ride that embraces its absurdity, making it an exhilarating experience from start to finish. Secondly, it continues and enhances the franchise's core theme of family, making it even more enjoyable. Thirdly, unexpected and fantastic cameos add to the overall entertainment value of the movie. Unlike other Fast and Furious films, this movie perfectly balances high-octane action sequences and humor, making it a must-see for action movie enthusiasts.
However, the script doesn't give the antagonist much to work with, which is a minor drawback. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this film to Dwayne Johnson or Jason Statham fans. Overall, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is a stellar movie that deserves a strong 4-star rating.
Grey's Anatomy (2005)
Awesome
Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama series that takes place in Seattle, Washington, in the 1950s. The protagonist, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon and struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, especially Richard Webber, the hospital's former chief of surgery, who had a personal relationship with Meredith's mother when she was young.
One of the things that make Grey's Anatomy stand out is its diverse and complex characters. The show's storylines are wild, unpredictable, and unforgettable, making it one of the most popular shows on television. However, the show also has emotional moments that add depth to the characters, and its witty dialogue is a delight to watch.
While some viewers may find the show unrealistic and melodramatic, it's essential to remember that Grey's Anatomy is a work of fiction. Some aspects of the show may not align with real-life healthcare situations, but that doesn't detract from its entertainment value.
In conclusion, Grey's Anatomy is an incredible show that deserves a 5-star rating. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves medical dramas and enjoys a good story. So, if you haven't watched it yet, give it a chance, and let Grey's Anatomy take you on a wild and unforgettable ride.

3 Body Problem (2024)
Truly amazing Truly
"3 Body Problem" is a captivating sci-fi fantasy drama in China during the 1960s, and spans over 400 years into the future in the United Kingdom. Despite being warned about the hostile nature of an alien civilization, Ye chose to alert them to Earth's location. As the mystery slowly unfolds (and I do mean slowly), viewers are presented with a plethora of speculative science fiction concepts that put their minds to work. I would highly recommend this 5-star show to anyone interested in the genre.

In this installment, Breaker is now serving as a Federal Marshal and embarks on a mission with his good friend, Deputy Marshal Bugle Bearclaw.

As the story unfolds, Breaker, Bearclaw, and Yule's estranged brother find themselves caught in a web of twists and turns as they try to solve the dispute. The film also explores John Breaker's family connections, adding another layer of complexity to the story.
I enjoyed The Warrant: Breaker's Law because it offers a refreshing take on the Western genre. It's a clean and moral film without being preachy, making it perfect for fans of classic Westerns.
Marple (2004)
Amazing
I wanted to share with you my latest discovery - a captivating mystery drama called Miss Marple. This show takes us back to the quaint village of St. Mary Mead during the 1930s, 1940s, and early 1950s, where we follow the adventures of Agatha Christie's popular elderly female sleuth. What makes Miss Marple so intriguing is her feminine approach to solving mysteries. She relies on wisdom and intuition to uncover clues that others might overlook or dismiss. It's truly admirable how she values justice and retribution above all else. And despite her frail appearance, her mind is razor-sharp, allowing her to frequently solve crimes that have left the police flummoxed. One aspect that I find particularly inspiring about Miss Marple is how she defies the stereotypes associated with aging. She proves that getting older doesn't mean losing one's worth or ability to have adventures.
Her character serves as a reminder that older people can still contribute to society in meaningful ways. However, others frequently underestimate her. Despite her intelligence, she is often seen as an underdog. However, time and time again, she proves her worth by solving even the most perplexing mysteries. Her intuition and ability to relate each crime to something people in her village have done are truly remarkable. She is relatable, clever, and has an unsentimental understanding of human nature. I find her character to be both endearing and inspiring. If you're a fan of the detective series, I highly recommend giving Miss Marple a try. It's a 5-star show that offers an engaging and entertaining portrayal of a brilliant female detective. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did!
Blood Ties (2007)
Amazing show till the end
Blood Ties is an exceptional fantasy horror drama that takes place in Toronto, Ontario. The show revolves around the story of Vicki Nelson, a former homicide detective turned private investigator, and Henry Fitzroy, a 470-year-old vampire. Together, they form an unbeatable team that solves cases and confronts the supernatural world with courage and skill.
I love the show because it showcases the unbreakable bond between family members that creates a strong sense of unity and belonging. The show also offers an electrifying blend of mysticism, suspense, and romantic tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
If you're a fan of the urban fantasy genre, you simply cannot miss this 5-star show. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves thrilling and captivating TV series, especially to adults and teens.
Last of the Summer Wine (1973)
Super de Duper
Last of the Summer Wine is a delightful comedy series set in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, England, during the summer. The show features an interesting cast of characters from different social classes, including Cyril Blamire, Norman 'Cleggy' Clegg, and Compo Simonite, each with their unique traits and personalities. The show humorously portrays men as overgrown kids while some of TV's most formidable women serve as authority figures, such as Ivy and Nora Batty.
Personally, Compo Simonite is my favorite character because he is hilarious and entertaining. The show has gentle humor and no drama, affairs, arguments, or cliffhangers, making it a perfect choice for those who prefer lighthearted and family-friendly humor. The BBC has praised the show for its positive portrayal of older people, which is a great aspect of the show.
Roy Clarke, the show's creator and sole writer, is known for his ability to create well-observed, highly peculiar yet believable characters, which adds to the charm of the show. The first ten years of the show are some of the finest comedies ever created, and I would highly recommend this five-star show to everyone, including members of the royal family.
Doctor Who (2005)
AWESOME SERIES!
Doctor Who is a British comedy set in the classic era: 1963-1989 - The new era: 2005-2023 in Gallifrey, a fictional planet in the constellation Kasterborous. An eccentric yet compassionate extraterrestrial Time Lord zips through time and space to solve problems and battle injustice across the universe, traveling via the TARDIS, an old and occasionally unreliable spaceship that resembles a blue police phone box that changes its appearance depending on its surroundings and is much, much larger inside than outside. As a fan of the show, Doctor Who, there are many reasons why I enjoy it so much. One of the main reasons for my fascination with the show is the way it presents compelling storylines and primitive special effects that capture my imagination and keep me hooked. The show's main idea, "There's so much out there, why the hell stay here?", is another reason why I like it so much. It encourages me to explore new possibilities and adventures beyond the mundane.
Moreover, Doctor Who appeals to a wide range of people, including young and old, geeks and non-geeks, making it an excellent source of appreciation. The show's ever-changing narrative, Doctors, and showrunners mean that there are several places to start, and it's easy to find something that appeals to everyone.
The educational aspect of the show is another reason why I find it so fascinating. Originally intended to appeal to a family audience, Doctor Who uses time travel to explore scientific ideas and famous moments in history. It's a great way to learn about science and history in a fun and engaging way.
The inclusivity of Doctor Who is also something that I appreciate. It stands for a space that should make everyone feel safe and seen, and it's the best part of humanity, put through just a silly sci-fi lens. It's a show that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.
Finally, I like the nostalgia that comes with watching Doctor Who. It brings back a lot of memories of my childhood and reminds me of the joy I felt watching the show with my family. Additionally, I love the pace of the show because I can watch it at my own pace and enjoy it in my own time. Overall, Doctor Who is a fantastic show that has something for everyone, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. I recommend Doctor Who with 5 stars for ages 10 and up, but certain episodes may not be suitable due to scary monsters and intense suspense.
