Better with each season

Best police drama in decades and improves with each season . Lots of insights into law enforcement good and bad But above all fair. Another possitive is that this his show assumes its view is fairly intelligent sure like all shows they have to do a few magic tricks to make the story move forward at more than a snails pace but they do so in a way that is not insulting to the viewer . Great show looking forward to a season 7 .

I am stunned at what manages to make it on TV in recent years . quality driven shows are few and far between. perhaps due to so many streaming and cable channels needing material, but whatever the reason this is just another example of junk managing to pass as clever to some, and that is fine if people are entertained by this nonsense I am happyfor them . But please think about the rest of us who enjoy true quality in writing, direction, acting. Shows like Deadwood, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Fargo, True Detective , All wonderful creative Dramas with intelligent writing, acting, locations where even the sets are well thought out. You will find none of that in killing Eve. I cannot print a spoiler because there is nothing here to spoil. Killing Eve starts off fairly well, enough to string you along for a few episodes. Though it quickly deteriorates into who knows what? not dramatic, not amusing, but silly drivel truely a mash of juvenile pablum with no sene of purpose. Pages of empty generic dialogue that could have been written by anyone, and a few characters moving about on the screen. Trust the low scores on this one, its a low quality show. I am unable to understand the overall 8 point rating as there seems to be far more who rate this as a one or two star show . Good luck I hope this was helpful

Believe the reviews that give this show 9s and 10s riveting Argentine prison Drama Rich in characters twists and turns atmosphire and BRILLIANT ACTING This show gets better with each season and each episode hang tight for first season give it a chance it picks up considerably and by season 2 you will be hooked introducing new characters that are comic book villains not simple one dimensional characters no they lure you into this miserable hell hole and you are stuck in there with them and all that transpires This is among the greats although subtitles move quicky I think you will adjust enough to enjoy the full value of this great show seldom do we see such gems Deadwood comes to mind a Brilliant HBO western tapestry with comedy and some of the most ruthless terrifying characters shock awe and yes belly laughs and conversations that make you laugh cry and ill to your stomach. This show is a distant cousin to the other where much of the action is in hotel barroom and gold foelds and bar room philosophy will keep you entertained and guessing enjoy this show and be sure to continue into second season when things get very interesting.

This is just plain bad in every way and on every level Even the sets are poor. Starting to see a lot of this garbage on Netflix and Amazon prime. I could find nothing interesting or redeemable in this dialogue acting direction all about as bad as anything I have seen in a very long while .I was unable to finish as it was to foolish to continue watching such horrfic mess even to see it to the end having invested (wasted ) some of my time on this laughable piece of work. So bad it could not even be thought of as a campy bad movie I am guessing the budget was less than 1,000.00 somebody had generous parents because only a parent would have put up money for this wreck. Note no spoilers because there was nothing to spoil

This show gets better with every episode. Production values, location, casting, acting, characters, could hardly be better Once I started second season I could not break away finished two seasons in a week where did my weekend go !! This south anerican shanty town prison show is sensational Characters are so well done and acted Which character is best ? Acting Perfection and many deserve awards for some of the best ensemble acting since DEADWOOD I cannot go any further watch this if you want a show that is unique, exciting, gripping, interesting, quirky, fascinating, with amazing award worthy performances This is it.

If you watched and enjoyed the Patriot series on Amazon or the Fargo series you should enjoy this quirky funny touching series because it is an amazing adventure taking you through places in the human spirit seldom visired in such a way almost an alice in wonderland adventure with a dedicated texas ranger the Mexican Cartel a wanna be astronaut and others mixed into a most truely unique way of demonstrating the ways in which the often damaged human spirit employees empathy caring bonding to connect dream and assist one another In a world full of wounded souls and those opprotunists who are almost devoid of such feelings who lay in wait to take full advantage without guilt or remorse to achieve thier goals. This is a most captivating and different view of things full of wonderful insights presented through characters landscapes and dialogue it shows one one the great ensemble casts since DEADWOOD . This is not the usual fare it is a gift .. and shows the growth of an artist who no doubt loves his craft and has something to say. Give it a chance I did not want to give anything away as part of the great joy of this show are the revelations and how they are presented including the use of language again I would point to DEADWOOD in that sense .olease let me know if you agree

Brilliant , sometimes hilarious sometimes disquieting

A unique and wonderful show following the lives of a group of working Moms. Often offering brilliant insight into the special challenges faced in a new era of family relationships. The humor is refreshing and often laugh out loud funny but it is not all humor . It is about surviving in a loving relationship in a new age where so much more is demanded of a working mom and the demands placed upon them in buisness and personal relationships. But the writers of this show offer a very keen eye something rarely seen . This seems to me a work of love beautifully crafted and thoughtful

In what universe could any person capable of thought see this mess as worth watching . I suffered through this entire horrid assult on my intellect or any thinking person who values thier time in any way so others could be warned . This is pure trash some of the worst writing I have seen on any Netflix show seems that anything goes now quality has been tossed aside . I won't give spoilers because this whole project was spoiled right out of the gate. Heed the reviews of those who give this mess 1s and 2s

This is not a high octane thrill a minute show instead it is a deep dark complex brooding film with thoughtful powerful sensible acting of the stuff seldom seen especially on the tv screen haunting lives damaged love that cannot bare the weight obsession taking hold over a lifetime. Writing is brilliant acting matches the writing and direction wraps it all up in acomplicated adult drama among the very best I have seen in years Leaving us to ponder issues of time life love and what it all means. What is time to each of us ?

Quirky ..unlikely little gem

Was not sure during first 10 mins. if I was going to stay with it, But I saw how it could go either way and may indeed be an overlooked treasure. This is a fringe film to be sure unusual but rewarding for the effort if you can enjoy a non mainstream small budget movie with minimal production values but a sincere effort with no weak performances in my opinion but a truly wonderful performance from Billy Crystal and others an oddball little gem and music is fresh and works well . I would like this film to get the recognition it deserves for that reason I will not add spoilers Since I almost never read reviews with spoilers and I assume thier are many others like myself who want an general idea of the film without giving away the substance its a challenge to be sure . But I hope I have maybe added to the interest in watching this lark this fun and even interesting little gem .

Overall Story,acting,direction, location make for a good show Sadly Netflix Originals have set the bar to high for this series . Netflix Origionals are miles ahead of competition from Amazon and Hulu my wife and I enjoy investing in a good show and watching a season or two maybe more is an investment of time often rewarded with Netflix originals like the great LILYHAMMER NARCOS RIVER THE KILLING HOUSE OF CARDS and many many more tight well written acted shows unfortunately for us BLOODLINE does not measure up shortcuts in writing and plot holes so big that any thinking viewer would have to ask how? why? what? when? countless times over. Yet in spite of these gaping holes in plot and story we continued to watch even while complaining "how stupid" the whole time . Most will pick up on this,after a few episodes the bad news .. It only get worse!! The writing is nearly insufferable as is some of the acting But back to the writing As a fan of one of the all time great shows "DEADWOOD" A near perfect show laced with obscenities between some of the finest dialogue of any show ever BLOODLINE is laced with the F bomb like you have never heard it since the thirty second barrage from planes trains and automobiles Only there is little content between the F bombs in Bloodline and what there is leaves you scratching your head as to how could so many people all involved each and every character be so effing stupid . But to its credit we continued to watch

Follows a completely nonsensical story/stories line (s). This Could have been entertaining, but the gaps in the entire layout are huge . It defies any logic. For me no matter how much I attempted to suspend belief there was just no way to accept this thin facade of such a place with details provided in show it is beyond reason how any would find it more than foolish . Good Sci Fi requires a basis in probability possibility and this offers none . Watch an episode and see for yourself. (I watched 4 before judging just in case ) but holes in plot line are just to obvious and enormous . I do not wish to give anything away. I actually do believe a story of this sort could be done with attention to detail and and craftsmanship. This series however is nothing but an absolute horrid mess.I had been looking forward to this show from its start since HBO has done some of televisions best.

Pablo makes a fair point . But it was the family who owned the property that tried in vane to share this great discovery with the world and condemned as a fraud. As with anything discovery is not the be all and end all. A far more significant

point to this story is about is the efforts to share this magnificent artifact with the world in the face of complete skepticism. Yes a shepherd / hunter found it but the journey is in getting people to understand the value in the history of mankind amid claims of fraud. This is an effort to view the far bigger picture the efforts to learn human history and just how relevant this find was relating to preserving a chapter in early mankind's history. the effort to share with the world is the story .pablo is looking through a more political lens. But at the time it seems few other than a determined landowner cared about the historical value . His efforts saved these magnificent artifacts bring attention to the story of mankind's history

Angie Tribeca (2016–2018)

wanted so much to like it

It has moments but overall a weak attempt at police squad . Occasionally good sight gags and that's about it, This might have worked if it were a new idea, but it has been done before and far far better. This is like Airplane 2 pushing weak material as far as they can go milking the original concept. As for cast they need more experience, they don't seem to truly enjoy the material or concept for that matter. Now Deon Cole is brilliant in Blackish, and easily the most talented member of the cast, but he never should have left Blackish as his Character "Charles" is original hysterical and might have become a classic like Danny Devito in Taxie or Kramer in Seinfeld.Aside from points I have made I would add the show has some funny guest spots which are the saving grace of the show and reason I gave this a 5 rather than a 3 . I hope to see this show improve but a word to Deon, Please go back to blackish you provided some great and memorable comedy moments on TV show loaded with great talent such a great cast and writing go back to them please they need you Just my opinions.
