Happiness (1998)
Excellent!!!
I like so much this movie. I found it very funny. Dark humor and so wonderful acting. Philip Seymour Hoffman was supperb. Although this was the first time I saw him acting, I think that from here it was obvious one of the most talented actors in the state. THE SCRIP WAS AMAZING!!!!. Some cons: I found a little bit confusing the reaction of the psychiatric son, when he asked him about if he had thought about having sex with him. That was the lowest part of the movie. The child cry with the answer but it was not convincing. I like the rest of the acting. This is the only part of the movie that I really did not like. It is a great movie in spite of the short funding they had. With a better photography this could become a real classic.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
great acting inspiring...
I am a Jewish black and this movie moved my feet. I liked the long walks around with the x ray. That remembers me when I was a little kid with my father. It is very painful sometimes but great.
The child is also very inspirational. Very well acted. Maybe sometimes they need better dialogues between father and son.
The bad things about the movie it that I wanted to see more on the relationship between the mother and the child. Also I wanted to see a little bit more on the internal conflict of the child.
In the final part of the movie I wanted to see how was handle the change in the life of the character as well
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
good script - bad direction - worst music
It is amazing how producers can destroy people's illusions to save some money. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the summit, the best direction and music, they knew the next one was suppose to be a success, so why spend more money! lets make a cheap movie, it will make us rich!!! The script was OK but it was unnecessary to show the first scenes with the tournament, it could have been better to focus on the goblet of fire itself, more interesting scenes there. Brendan Gleeson was superb, the only that was really good one, really. It was shocking the change in music, I was used to John Williams good instrumentation. The direction was some time to oriented to show British education, too irrelevant to show here.
No Good Deed (2002)
VERY VERY BAD
One of the worst plot I have seen, absolutely non sense!!!!! The most stupid scene is the romantic one, the girl go for some insulin and brings also the cello, the score for piano and cello and also the music stand!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not imagine this girl getting down from the second floor by the stairs with all this stuff.......whahhhhhhhhhhh
