The Santa Clause 2 (2002)
No Comparison
This movie was a humdrum flop. The producers and directors are really desperate. This movie wasn't even fit to MAKE the movies. Not much of a plot. The only good acting was that of Tim Allen, who, in my opinion, saved an otherwise disastrous flick. Just my humble opinion, but I wouldn't waste the time, money nor energy to see this movie, unless you are really desperate!
Submarines (2003)
Not Much On Realism
Pretty good entertainment, but if you want realism with regard to life aboard a US Nuclear Submarine, watch "The Hunt for Red October" instead. A poor plot, mediocre acting, and not much suspense. I wouldn't waste my money if I were you...... Just my humble opinion!
Antibody (2002)
Don't Waste Your Money!
One of the worst Sci-Fi/Paranormal flicks I've seen in a very long time. If they tried to make another "Fantastic Voyage", they definitely missed the mark. The plot was lousy, the acting was terrible, and I'm sorry, but White Blood Cells cannot eat through metal. Don't waste your money or your time either buying or renting this sorry excuse for entertainment!
Natural Born Killers (1994)
A Little too much Violence
There's a lot of violence in this movie. The acting was good, and Woody Harrelson definitely came through. However, I believe this movie bears considerable rage, violence, psychosis, and otherwise sociopathic ideations. I would NOT recommend it for the faint of heart.
Lethal Weapon (1987)
Right On Target!
A must see for action fans worldwide! Outstanding plot, and there is a special magic between Danny Glover and Mel Gibson. Lots of cliche's and twists! I would HIGHLY recommend it for everyone! It has "tear jerker" qualities, a little too much violence, but all in all I would rate it among the top 10 I've ever seen.
Windtalkers (2002)
Too much battlefield mayhem, not enough plot
There is way too much emphasis on the battlefield mayhem and violence, and short on the real meaning of the movie, which is the fact the Japanese were never able to break the Navajo code. If you like blood, gore and extreme violence, I guess this would be a must see. Personally, I didn't like it.
Crimson Tide (1995)
A Must See
Being stationed aboard a nuclear submarine myself, this movie is very realistic. Some confidentiality must be maintained, but I would definitely give it an A- for realism. Denzel Washington is very convincing and plays the part very well. The suspense is superb! I highly recommend this movie for anyone who likes up front and personal action all the way!
The Hunt for Red October (1990)
Taking it to the limit
a MUST SEE movie. Acting is superb, as well as realism. Jonesy does an awesome job as the primary sonar technician. Alec Baldwin, as usual, is at this best. As for Sean Connery, he is one of my favorite actors and does a tremendous job! If you want to know what submarine life is about, this is the movie to see! BRAVO ZULU and ANCHORS AWEIGH!
