Bharjari Gandu (2024)

Good direction and execution... Hope for OTT release

It's such a good movie... But, didn't run well. If D had made this movie, it would be Kateera, if S then it would had been Manikya. The direction is good, and the movie promotions was a good, that I sent and we received WhatsApp messages to watch the movie.

To watch amigo song in theater was fun, while I didn't know that it was in YouTube also. I could see a lot of my acquaintance, BR Shetty, and a R in the movie. I wish Kiran Raj gets a break in the future. The release was poor because of film chamber issues I guess, well, money is everything nowadays.

Wish the movie sees OTT release on top OTT, it deserves it. Surekha and Yasha Shivakumar were charming also.

Yuva (2024)

Superb Movie for a Debutant Actor.

Yuva Raj Kumar has acted very well in the movie. He has performed par in stunts and dance which reminds us of Puneeth Rajkumar. We needed such a first movie from the third generation of Dr. Rajkumar.

The movie reminds us of Puneeth through out at times and also at the ending credits. There are two songs dedicated for the Hero which will be remembered in the mouths by public for longtime. One is 'Obba Shiva, Obba Yuva', another is 'Yuvaraja'.

Sapthami role is less in the movie. Achyuth Kumar has acted brilliantly, so is Kishore and Gopalkrishna Deshpande. Don't miss this movie if you are a fan of Dr. Rajkumar family or want to see another well set hero from the family.

Shakhahaari (2024)

Direction and Acting is just neat and superb!

It didn't seem like Sunkad did his first film with this movie. Rangayana Raghu is just acted nearly impossible for a Kannada movie. Gopalkrishna Deshpande and others have done well too.

I liked how simplifyly the script was kept in the first half, though it turned little complicated in the second. The movie has brought in light about the carnal desires and their effects due to illicit relationships in this movie. Little adult genre for this actually.

The movie must be inspired by Mohanlal's Drishyam, but is very different compared to it. Kudos to the director, I hope he becomes a good one for the Kannada Cinema in the future.

All the actors have done equally well, music and camera work are plus.

RS! What an acting! Superb

I'm sitting at the mall and writing a review for this movie. This movie is equivalent to the first part, but amazing acting by Rakshit Shetty... Especially in the climax.

You can't watch this movie easily with children, and there are scenes with adult connections in the movie through out, though nothing explicit because it is shetty movie. Hemanth direction is as usual and good. Charan Raj has given better music in the movie compared to the first.

You see some scenes as recapitulation from the first part of the movie. Don't miss the movie if you are an artistic movie buff, the movie is a bridge movie and also Mallu style Kannada movie.

Saptha Sagaradaache Ello - Side A (2023)

7/10 - Only because it's Hemanth and Rakshit Combo, else...

Hemanth made a little laggy movie in his GBSM, which I liked back in 2016. I saw that movie in theater with relatives. But, he is gotten used to making lag in the movies especially in the later part of the movie. He has some talent, I think he should write second half of the movie first instead of starting with the first half. So that he improves in it.

Rakshit has given cent percent for this movie. And I like his transformation in the climax. The last 5 mins of movie is written very well. The story seems to have inspiration from Shashwank Redemption, Shankar Nag's movie like Accident... And, little bit of Kanasugara. Just for fun. You can say that movie is consequences faced by hero which the movie Accident didn't show.

Coming to the music, Charan Raj is used to his type of movie. I was listening to Godhi Banna Sadarana Mykattu movie songs after reaching home, and I saw that Charan Raj should had given better music for the movie. It holds you, seems too unimaginative or lack of enthusiasm at times.

Rukmini, Avinash, Sharath, Achyuth have done well in their roles, which can't be questioned. My point is that Rakshit should start making movies with little punch through out, or cut off the length of the movie like the Hollywood ones. I watched this movie in First day, since I missed fan premiere. Couldn't sleep well in the night since I was to watch the movie today. But, Rakshit, I said you some thing. Just look in to it.

Again, it's Karnataka 's Malabar... Mallu style movie. Those who like Comercial movies of D and S, should not watch the masterpieces of Coastal Kannadigas.

Good Script, Good Acting, Good Direction

I would had given an 8 to this movie if it was not for the climax in the movie. I should say that the Mangalore Gang has a good sense in making quality Kannada movies. They have the ability to know how to balance the commercial aspects of the movie, and also keep the movie artistic also.

This movie is like 'Gowli' movie which released a few months ago, but more commercial aspects in this movie. Raj B Shetty seems to have found the jest of making movies apt for him. You can see a little of Garuda Gamana Vrishaba Vahana in this movie. Raj kills the movie, while Samyukta has her part as the opposite. Other actors make you immersed in the movie. Wish the Shetty Gang, also known as Karnataka's Malabar for making Mallu style movies here.

Movie for Family and Relatives

The movie has a kind of Brahmanical touch through out, and you don't see any other people in the plot. I should say that it was only they who were ruling every part of the system back in the 60s to 70s. So, no offense on that.

When i checked the trailer it seemed like a movie about a startup kind, i expected it to be some what like 'Made In Bengaluru' movie, but the director has brought a different kind of theme in the movie. I should say that the movie seems well connected to the those days. I have my own relatives who worked in KPWD back then, but they didn't raise 9 childrens. The birth control was there in the 60s and 70s. Ashok and Sudha really do well in their part of portrayal in the movie, other actors have done well too. The team has made good work to make the characters look like the ones of those era, and PRK Productions has spent well on sets and making of the movie.

Worth watching movie, but right now, i heard some one who came out of the movie telling his family members to give positive reviews on the internet. So, well, you know who are watching the movie now - Family and Relatives of Orthodox makers. Well, watch the movie if you have time, it doesn't bore you, though i felt i could had walked out on hearing the demise of the Celebrity's wife.

Dhoomam (2023)

Watchable Once... Especially on...

Good Screenplay. The movie keeps you engaged throughout. Little long though.

The movie doesn't have any connection like it was explained as in the pre release publicity. Just one scene is about how the Statuary Warning... I don't know who that actress is, but she was the only hot girl in the movie. Jut joking on the outfits used. This is a typical Malayalam type of movie, with little mismatch in Kannada dubbing at times.

Over all, you can watch this movie once. You should wait till the end of the movie for you to like it to an extent. Since this is Hombale Product, you can watch it on OTT post release, but make sure that you watch in one go.

Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage (2022)

Good concept, worst execution!

Hats off to the director, I think he didn't visualize the movie himself well before directing. Naveen Shankar is tried to be mass hero in certain scenes. Ashani Shetty is bubbly at the start, but doesn't have much scope in the movie.

I was like when will the movie finish in the theater. There is no connectivity in the screenplay. Some good aierial shots of Bangalore in the movie. Don't waste watching this movie in time.

I think Naveen didn't get a better movie, so he took up this after so long gap. Ashani also doesn't make an impact. Lot of drugs in the movie, makes it not suitable to kids to watch.

Commercial Movie of Real Story

Movie is good enough to be watched in theater. There were couple of reviews which made have low expectation in watching the movie. But, the movie is good enough.

There might be part 2 of this movie. The movie shows plots of the Chief Minister of 1970s Devaraj Urs and Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Movie also shows some of the details of how inefficient administration back in those days made way for uprise of M. P. Jayaraj, a don of Bangalore. The names in the movie have been deferred to keep the identity of real rowdies and politicians undisclosed.

It's a good movie to watch with friends, and you can expect some good action and offensive language through out the movie, which would probably be censored on post theatrical release.

Well, the movie is still running in the theater. Im just walking outside from the screen.

Worst screenplay. Worst Direction, worst dialogues.

I couldn't watch this movie even till the interval. Just giving 3 stars because of Jaggesh.

You should never weigh on Vijayaprasad direction, I thought of not watching this movie after watching is last movie in theater, but I somehow came.

You will vomit if you watch this movie in theater. May be today is last day of multiplex screenings.

The movie night release on OTT soon, since it seems like last week in theater.

Jaggesh and Aditi have acted well.

Kiran Raj can direct movies much well. Though this can be compared to the bridge category of films in Malayalam, the movie could had been much entertaining.

They've a message at the end of the movie. Still not equal to the hype that's created by the movie team on media. The film makers these days should stop falsly creating hype.

Rakshit has acted well, can receive a award. The heroine is a totally fake character in the opposite.

The direction of the movie is good. The director has done well to bring out a good film in his limitation.

The Heroes of the movies are actually Suchendra Prasad, Rangayana Raghu and Girish Shivanna.

Good Movie. Watched it in PVR.

Too much hype for a stereotype movie

You don't see anything new in this movie. It's just like other low budget of Kannada Cinema. But yet, the technicians have done well to keep the movie in continuity. Naveen Krishna is the only professional actor you see, other than appearances from Tarun Sudheer, Om Prakash Rao (Son of NS Rao) and Director Dorai-Bhagwan.

I came across the movie in a local Facebook group. But, after watching the movie, I felt it was wrongly advertised as majority of the movie is shoot in Vidyaranyapura (Bangalore). I could hardly see 20 percent of the movie in surrounding places.

Well, you may watch the movie in theater. But, you may also wait for OTT release if at all.

Sanchari Vijay's last movie?

I'm not sure about the headline, because this movie at the end says 'to be continued'.

No words about Vijay's acting. It is little similar to his previous release 'Taledanda'. The screenplay could had been better. I think the movie must be incomplete with the untimely death of Vijay.

Heroin has acted well too. You'll hate the villain character.

Miss you Vijay.

I saw this movie both in Shivarajkumar dub, and also with Puneeth Rajkumar voice modulation yesterday. They have done a tremendous job in bringing back the voice to the film. I guess, the voice was taken from the line audio that were captured during the filming.

If you are a PRK fan, don't miss the film in theaters again. The OTT version that's available now is in SRK voice dub, and may need time to updated.

Saw the Kannada version of the movie. First half is more interesting than the second half. There will be twists and turns through out the movie.

Technically the movie is great, but realistically it's a Telugu movie geenre.

I should say that there's no better place to know about the ups and downs of the legendary Indian pair of tennis anywhere. The directors have done a very good job, there could have been voice over at some places so that the documentary feeling was more.

All credits to the flag bearers of Indian Tennis. It's just the destiny that took over, that they didn't play together in the ATP circuit. But, they both have achieved enough, and it brings tear and the story grips you with emotions.

Shershaah (2021)

Every now and then, we all should see such a movie, which shows the valiance of our armed forces. It is very much required for us to recalibrate our patriotism, which would otherwise go diminishing because of the ill deeds that happen in our system.

Cried watching the movie.

Gumnaami (2019)

The movie is not conclusive...

Not in the Bengal Land, but, in Bengaluru, the show had only 6 audience in a multiplex. The movie is not worth it's hype and Subhas Chandra Bose image will make them earn some good bucks.

The movie concludes pressing about Netaji existence even after the 1945 Plane Crash. But, most of it seem to be just added up plots. No evidence will prove this Netaji Conspiracy, unless it is from the government(s).

But, still a good movie, but could had been much better. Especially if you are not a Bengali.

Yajamana (2019)

Big Villian can Beat Hero!

It's a Darshan Like movie... Next release of his might be on 2020. Memorable "Yajamana" for me because it was a reasonably the experience like 1st "Yajamana". A seasonal type, i like the Characteristics of Anil and Ajay. I should mention the dialogue: "A Hero can Beat a Big Villian." But, i say: "You seldom see a Big Hero become a Villain, but often the other way, which is highly appreciated."

And, the lighting were Good. The Yajamana, was known to have aviophobia, may be he relies a lot on the Pilot.

K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018)

Marvel... Challenging and Revolutionary Movie.

Saw the film in a backyard theater. Great dialogue, it's the best part of the movie. The director has done a good job, am not saying 'Pretty Good', because brits in a foreign are scared of it, and my confidence. The music is the next best part. Yash is currently the best in the deed as an actor for Kannada Industry.

Thanks for not including comedians in this movie. Movie could had been little short, as that was the first personal review to a person waiting for next show.

Ananth Nag narrates the story, and I wait for a suspense about him in the next Chapter of KGF. Not including it, as it will be a spoiler for the sequel.

2.0 (2018)

Great Direction, Good Entertainer!

The first Rajinikanth movie I saw in Theater, in Dubai/Sharjah/UAE. Also the only time I could see complete movie. Having seen Amy Jackson there, and didn't even knew that she was such a bold and top actress. Akshay Kumar's acting surpasses everyone's. While there is no substitute for Rajini's Style when he comes as a Robot. The concept of the movie is good, but very beyond the reality. Next to see is Amy's Villian, and I know it's again a unreal one.

Still a good movie, and can watch. No words about Shankar's direction. He has taken the Tamil Cinema to a newer level, though I watched the movie in Hindi 3D on 3December.

Humble Politician Nograj (2018)

Not worth the Hype

The movie isn't a great debut for Danish Sait. Though his acting has been (marginally) good, the film fails to capitalize on the hype it created. To be frank, you can hardly find scenes make you laugh. Just a couple of scenes are fine for a laugh. The videos uploaded on the internet by Danish Sait were much more laughable than the ones in the movie. The gay characters in the movie have no groove in the movie, but shows the mediocrity of the characters in the movie.

The character Monjunath and Lavanya have been potrayed well. Some scenes in the movie which Danish potrays have no realism, like that which he does in the powering the D.S Nagar area, where he enters a random family. Puneeth Rajkumar enters the movie in a college function, which was perhaps only added when the producers realized that movie wouldn't do much in the Box Office.

Saad Khan could had done much better, but thanks to other co-directors who have made it enough bearable to watch once. There is one scene in which Danish Sait couldn't speak Urdu properly, which is actually his mother tongue. If you are a Danish Sait fan, you may only like to forget the movie after you watch for once.

Jungle Book (1942)

Sabu Dastagir!! Amazing Treasure Hunt!

I wanted to watch this movie from long, and the movie was on my DVD shelf from past since June 2011, right when i heard about the protagonist on a local newspaper. Sabu, who hails from Mysore, India was the first Indian to make it big in Hollywood. Yet, his descendents back in India are leading a poor life. The movie should be one like a King Kong of those time. The screenplay is realistic, you would find the movie to be an extraordinary being it made 70 years ago when there were no computers to graphic. My little nephew like the movie when the wild animals were there!

The film is also a mixture of Indian Culture, it again proves that India is a land of Wonders! Those traditional beliefs, which oppose people movements, those supernatural guards all just elevate your thinking on India. This is be true even now in India, as there was vast treasure found recently beneath the temple. You can call it an amazing treasure hunt movie.

One suggestion, i saw as a VHS print, but nowadays DVDs are available. Check in a DVD to view in a better quality.
