Taish (2020)
A one time watch
Plot is good but lags in the emotional quotient. Though a revenge plot the cat and the mouse thrill is missing. Very sluggish at times with very average music. Some good performances but overall a one time watch kinda movie.

Don't waste your time and money
Absolute nonsense in the name of a movie. Wonder what was the director thinking while making it. Please don't waste your time and hard earned money on this.
Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015)
Overyhyped!! Way off the mark for any viewer who is accustomed with Bomkesh!
The casting is fair,Sushant Singh Rajput has done a decent job and so have the other characters. Calcutta of the 1940's has been portrayed beautifully and aesthetically. Apart from this one just feel for most part of the movie it is too dark and at times does make it difficult to figure out what's going on. The main issue with the plot is the director has tried to do too many things and in doing so have lost the originality of the writings. One is not too accustomed with Bomkesh might find the movie interesting but not someone who knows all about Bomkesh. The ending is rather stereotype and doesn't charm the viewer. All in all a so-so flick.
Talaash (2012)
Yet another masterpiece by the Genius!!
The movie as the name suggests is a "talaash" for viewers who till the very last moment keep guessing about the various incidents that unfolds before them .. The movie has been wonderfully scripted and directed.. Barring the last 10 minutes there isn't a single instance in the movie where it gets a little monotonous. All the actors have done a wonderful job especially Mr. Siddiqui who can take a bow.The plot of the movie is strong and can be regarded as an edge on thriller. The background score is very well composed and keeps the viewers interested.. Overall,as anticipated Talaash lives up to the expectation and delivers a powerful punch.
