Mulan (2020)
I Loved This Movie.
A fantastic movie. One of the best I've seen in a very long time. A good amount of action. And lump in your throat scenes. Liu Yifei looks fantastic when she fights, she's so graceful and beautiful, you can't take your eyes off her. It's a very emotional roller coaster ride. Mulan shows courage, bravery, and devotion to her fellow soldiers, her superiors, and brings honor to her family. I want to see this movie again. Loved it.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020)
Pretty Boring, And Sucky Writing.
Natalie Dormer is hot, and I love her. If the story and writing were different, and more like the original Penny Dreadful series with Eva Green, it may have been something to watch. The race struggles and tensions that we've seen many times before, makes it a boring watch. Plus, the extra talking, and talking. I've literally fallen asleep twice, watching two different episodes.
The Outsider (2019)
A "B- Movie" at best.
Eh, the acting and scenes are pretty bland or shall I say "flat". No way near a classic Spaghetti Western like Sergio Leone's old westerns (as some ridiculous article tried to point out). Hell no! Now those were movies. This movie is lacking emotion, it tries to be dramatic, but it just doesn't connect with you, you just don't feel it. Like most movies coming out today, that are either straight to DVD or just blah. And the two lead actors (husband and wife) who are indeed Asian, look more latin or American Indian than anything else. Lol.
Charmed (2018)
It's A Good Show!
I really like this show, the girls are cute, and the ones that are complaining, are those that wanted a reboot with the originals. Ok, it may have worked, or maybe not. Maybe the chemistry, just isn't there anymore, after all these years. Come on, give these girls a chance, so far, these girls have been able to pull it off.
Abduction (2019)
Put me to sleep.
I'm a big fan of Scott Adkins, and most of his movies, like the Undisputed trilogy and Boyka, etc. But this just plain sucked. I don't know if it was the acting or low budget special effects or both.
Night (2019)
Crap
The worst piece of crap I've ever seen... the whole movie is in that room, with the girl sitting on the chair. Though of course this happens in real life, the movie (if you want to call it that) is a complete bore.
Strike Back (2010)
One of the best action packed shows I have ever seen......ever.
Sadly it's getting cancelled....seriously, why? You have action from beginning to end, and a cast that has gone through some changes, but has not disappointed me in the least. The newer cast have it too. The girls are sexy, tough, and these guys kick ass too!!! What more can you ask for? This show is realistic, look at the way they hold their guns. I kid you not, and I'll say it again, since this show started, from the very beginning...."Non-Stop Action From Beginning To End" every episode.
The Flash: King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd (2019)
Love The Show....but
This episode was kind of bland.. the CGI looked terrible, like those you'd see in really bad B Movies...
Aquaman (2018)
Really Good...
This movie was awesome, one of my two favorite movies of this year, in par with Mortal Engines...
Mortal Engines (2018)
I loved This Movie....
I love imaginative movies like this. The characters were perfect, the special effects were incredible, and I was glued to my seat from beginning to end... A few movies nowadays make me feel like that. I see a few people criticizing it and saying that it was boring and predictable..to me, it was far from that, not even close. Usually those movies that people claim are so fantastic, I find, are usually overrated, very talky, have very little action and are boring as hell. This is one of those that you see, and want to have on DVD. ( For me at least.)
A Discovery of Witches (2018)
One of my favorite shows on Television right now!
The acting is great, and so is the story. At times you forget that you are watching a TV Series, because it feels just like a movie. Plus, I love Teresa Palmer, because she's always engaging to watch. The best thing about this is...that it's a British program, in the UK, so it won't get cancelled anytime soon, like they "always" do here in America. Always cancelling shows that people love, while leaving the crappy ones on air for 12+ years. Anyway, give this show a chance, and you won't be disappointed.
Mandy (2018)
This Movie Sucks....
I am baffled by all the good reviews. In the beginning, you're like ok, cool visuals....Then, it just becomes this boring talk fest, with dark moody lighting, ugly degenerates and demon bikers. Then, there's Nicholas Cage's love interest, (Andrea Riseborough) who is not attractive in the slightest in this movie. In real life, she's cute. But not in here. Then there's a cult leader named: You guessed it "Jeremiah". lol... I just couldn't sit through the whole movie without shutting it off... and believe me, I tried watching it twice, just to give it a chance, and nope, didn't work.
First Light (2018)
Good Movie!
This movie was way better than I expected...it has that coming of age feel with a mix of Sci-Fi in it. The special effects are done pretty well, the story and young fresh faced actors. It's good to watch a movie now and then where no one is too familiar except for the younger brother, who's the kid from the show The Gifted. And this pick up truck driver, guy who uncannily looks like Sammy Davis Jr..
The Hurricane Heist (2018)
Not A Bad Film
This movie is not bad, I was skeptical at first because of the low reviews and score....but it was better than I expected it to be. There's good action, special effects and good acting. Not even close to your typical low budget crap.
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
X-Men Apocalypse Rocks!
This movie was fantastic! One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time! This is definitely the best X-Men ever, surpassing Days Of Future Past which I thought was the best X-Men movie at that time for me.....will definitely watch it again. There are some stunning visual effects throughout the whole movie from beginning to end, and the cast is incredible, We get to see Magneto in a different light and in a more personal way,Quicksilver once again delivers and cracks you up. Definitely better than Captain America: Civil War. So, I would definitely recommend this one to anyone. Don't listen to the critics go see it for yourself!
