Tom Hanks is awesome! Also loved the robot and his evilving AI. Beautiful visual and simple but heartwrenching story with some sad and also comedic moments. Absolutely loved it! 8/10.

Best & funniest DC Movie so far...

I can understand, that people who loved the previous DC movies, might not like this. As this follows more the Marvel / Avengers / Guardians guideline with Gunn's Humor and writing with an R-Rating.
I did not really love previous DC Movies (except Dark Knight series). But this very well written, with lot of fun and twists and turns.. i was laughing more than I thought I would, i was hoping Margot Robbie would have some even crazier moment, but have to say, all actors have also delivered a really impressive performance. Soundtrack and Effects, were awesome. If this is the new DC, i will love this. Hard.

What a wonderful movie

First, this is not Aladin... this is based partly on chinese mythology and represents the gap between poor and rich in China pretty well and how people behave in China, comparing more like what people own and represent instead of their live experience and happiness. Life in China during these times is pretty hard if you are poor and have nothing to show and it's very rare that a couple coming from a poor and rich side, can come together and are "allowed" to fall in love. Some wealthy families will not allow here daughter / son to marry someone poor. That's a fact.
Back to the movie.... i was very pleasantly surprised of all the work which was put into this, story, characters and of course the special effects... this movie has more spirit (pun!) than most of the Disney stuff of today.
Heartful, enjoyable storyline which concentrates on the good in people. The Wish Dragon is not only for kids, every adult should watch it as well and let the spirit capture you. I loved the movie personally 10/10

Entertaining, but not very good, here's whats missing...

Ok, cast is okayish.... story is not bad.... filming technique is good, soundtrack nice... but here's the problem with this movie...
I liked it, but there are certain scenes and key scenes missing from a movie of this caliber...
1. Missing smart action scenes while it has a chase scene or two, they seem a little dull... missing smartness and fun... could use some nice action shots.
2. some actors were the wrong choice Cannon and the masterthieves daughter.... cannon is just wrong, while he tries to be funny and believable, he's totally not, his character should have been played ie. By dave batista, a beefier, more serious actor, which can make scenes and more influental and more controversial/whittier. Hermione Corfield (the daughter of Pace) should have been a better known actress... like a Margot Robbie / Jamie Presley.... sorry, also her acting is not good enough imho.
3. dumb scenes some scenes just make no sense make no sense, even though they are short... but for example why unscrew a table leg to show how to get a weapon when they need to defend? It seems like this is robin hood light with little sprinkles of batman, who refuses to use guns... they all just wanna do good, without being bad or using gun. This would make sense in the real world, but not in a heist/thief movie.
So this covers it mostly... again... i enjoyed the movie and there are some good performances, but it was pretty obvious while watching... some reactions include one of the classic: "wtf" "really" "what was that about" "wait that was it" "oh that could have been better" or "where are the guns..."
if you keep expecations low (sorry Pierce)... then you can enjoy this... if you expect Oceans Eleven... or hell, even Oceans Twelve... then you will be utterly disapointed...
.... and when you think, oh nice... a cool chase scene.. there's nick cannon ruining the fun with his wanna be funny acting and stupid dialogue...
sorry, Renny Harlin, used to love your movies, but this one is just..... mediocre at best. Wasted talents....

Pink is the one to watch

This one is personal. After all those years, I fell in love how she sings, what kind of human being she is and how she manages all the success and still is able to grow and manages her family. Tbh just find one word: AMAZING. Even if you don't necessarely like her music you have to admin that she is one hell of an artist. Kinda grew up with here music and helped me through all the lows and highs. Personally I adore here and love her music. This documentation shows an in depth look at her way of managing everything and how she is able to be the super-artist and super-mom and wife at the same time. Please keep on rock'n rolling for many years and fill the hearts of all your dedicated fans all over the world with joy and hope. One day, I really hope I can see you live. Thank you for everything.

Missing the magic from the original, but....

.... they tried. and wanted to tell another story...
i like it, but it was lacking a little bit in the comedy departement... and the magic from the first part. nonetheless was cool to see a continuation of the original....
it's far from really good... but i still enjoyed it. just keep expectations low and turn on your simple watching mode and you can find enjoyment...
there is no need to critizise every thing in every movie... movies are made to entertain, just let it entertain you.

Wonderful Story. Right in the heart

Why people gotta be so judgy about everything in movies these days.... this guy did not act well, story is not good, music is boring or whatever....
I thought this movie was wonderful, hitting right in the heart. Timberlake did a great job portraying an ex-con, regretting what he did.... but also falling in love with this little boy, who's different than a normal boy.
The boy is awesome, wonderful acting.... if you can accept that not all people are born equal, then you'll love this movie. let kids choose their own way, where and how they wanna go there. it's the way to go.
this is a movie for the heart, not for anything else, and my heart felt it.

Seriously a fun movie for rc car lovers

This movie got it all. RC fun, obsession, love, remorse, making the wrong decisions and making the right decisions.
Flying Cars is about RC cars, it's obsession and of course how the obsession can set you back financially and emotionally... wanting to live the dream of staying a kid, but then realizing it will mess your life up when it's becoming an obsession.
being there myself some years ago, I still love rc cars and I love this movie. I wish the rc stuff would have been done a little more serious, making him more like an aspiring racer, not just do a jump competition. but besides some minor details, this movie was really fun and took me right back.
performances were heartful and really surprisingly well. i love the main characters and that there is a little love story in there, to keep the movie enjoyable also by non-rc-fans.
was waiting to see this movie and was not disappointed.... this movie does not win awards in directing, special effects or acting, but it's about the love of rc cars.....one of my favourite movies of the year.

I found Dark Encounters actually pretty decent. Alien Movie, Abduction, Murder, Conviction, Special Effects... this movie has it all and is well made.
Story lacks a little, at the end you think, well this was more mystery and murder than sci-fi. But if you like a slow paced murder / mystery with some sci-fi, Dark Encounter is a movie you should actually watch. A small budget movie, well made.

Wow, surprising good Sci-Fi Movie made in Russia

Have to be honest here, russian movies have not had any impact on me at all so far, bad scripts, bad production value, bad acting.
in the last years, russian film makers have improved consistantly and russian film production companies and also the government has started to put work and money in where it should be invested, good scripts, good cgi and better than average actors.
This movie does almost everything better than any previous russian sci-fi movies, hell it does things even better than 95% of all other movies, including big hollywood blockbuster sci-fi hits.
Decent story, average to decent acting and awesome cgi effects and a good soundtrack make Attraction a movie for all sci-fi fans to watch. Also it shows, where the russian film industry is heading, to producing good storylines and good movies.
I'm not russian or american, so I am not biased. Give this movie a chance, you'll be positively surprised. It's a fresh story, packed in a fresh look and feel.
the only cons were the mediocre voice actors for the dubbed english version, which could have been done better. I hope that Hollywood is not going to remake this :)
