The Ledge (2022)
Ledge achieved what it wanted to achieve
Ledge is a fun film that keeps you on the edge of your seat making you feel anxious for the characters. This is a hunt film, predators Vs prey and survival of the fittest and I feel the film did exactly what it was to set out to achieve. The score is awesome, fantastcially directed, the acting was decent, and it was cinematic.
I give this film a solid 8 as nothing is perfect. There's a few places in the film I felt knowledge gaps and script could of been stronger but that's just my opinion and I respect any filmmakers creative vision and choices.
I enjoyed Ledge and I recommend the film, just be ready to go on a rollercoaster. I'm looking forward to seeing more from Howard Ford!
Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher (2022)
Great movie
This is a great film, the film locations, art department, costumes, lighting, is all fantastic, the acting is decent, you can see a'lot of blood sweat and tears went into this film, and great to see big names appearing in not just big studio productions but new comers and risers in the industry, and each actor delivered.
Its a great story and this is an enjoyable film to watch.
I give the film 8 stars as nothing is perfect, but I will say the film stands out and really had me engaged
The film feel reminded me alot of Cinderella Man, I am impressed and I can't wait to see more from Hookings and Camelot films.
Adventure Boyz (2019)
A film that will be a classic in our generation
I really enjoyed the film I was lucky enough to see the film at a screening In Cannes 2019!
The cast were brilliant Russell Shaw was one actor who really stood out to me along with Angela Dixon, Howard Ford.
I think the story line was brilliant and Ford has done a great job he is a film maker we must watch in our generation telling unique and new stories to our screens.
I will recommend this film to kids as it reminded of classic like goonies, and Homealone.
Well done all involved!
Never Let Go (2015)
one of the best independent films i have seen in a long time.
Well, all i have to say is wow, i really love the film, i was on the edge of my seat all the way through the film. i think the direction of the film was brilliant Howard did the best he could to bring out the best he could with the film. Angela was perfect for the role, really delivered the character to her depths with a sublime performance.
one thing i loved about the film a'lot is the story line was brilliant, a mother figure fights to get her child back, if there's one thing i find so annoying about films is when a woman who is a bad ass, a strong minded woman, fighting for survival, it is all then taken away because it ends up becoming a male (lover) that she is fighting for and her drive, fight to survive and live for. and for once it was not about this. she is a mother, who is trying to be a hero for her child, and it was brilliant.
Brilliant job from everyone involved.
