Ukraine on Fire (2016)
These guys should also make a movie called "Austria on Fire - the misunderstood Hitler"
Spoiler: this is not a documentary. It's a paid Kremlin propaganda trying to pass of as a documentary. Everybody should be warned when watching a movie about Ukraine made up entirely of Kremlin footage and laced with speeches by Russian President-made-dictator Putin. Next time, when making a movie about Ukraine - don't use Russian footage and Russian actors-made-experts, instead go into Ukraine and make a movie there, talk to people there - it will be more trustworthy. There is a real documentary on the Ukraine, it's called: "Winter on Fire" - a true documentary, featuring real original footage made just for the movie, real people speaking on the current events, a variety of international experts speaking. This "Ukraine on Fire" documentary is trash. You've been warned.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)
Harry Potter movies jumped a level with this one
Harry Potter story took a turn and came out of the world of fairy tales into the real world with realistic real-life emotions and problems, while still giving the viewer the amazing and cruel world of dark magic. This movie is scary, this movie is suspense, this movie is romantic. It keeps you on the edge of the seat and makes it hard to wait for the conclusion of the series. Ralph Fiennes is kicking butt, but what is also apparent is how a small boy Daniel Radcliffe turned from an insignificant child franchise actor into a world class award worthy talent. Ron Weasley is over-acting as always, but it works for him in this one. A tragic death of an imaginary character "Elf" was so meaningful and foretelling that it watered my eyes. A story about the deathly hallows, was like a movie inside a movie. It took a viewer out of the Harry Potter movie into a different world (different both artistically and thematically) - it was a brilliant spark of genius imagination of J.K. Rowling, and would be worthy to watch just by itself.
