A Haunting in Ravenwood (2021)
Just to be clear and just to be fair
While scanning the reviews for this particular title I was really dismayed that people have the audacity to tear something apart that was not a multimillion dollar project. Obviously if it was a larger scale project then I can understand some of the comments. While I will not give any spoilers, I will critique the items that I think could have probably been addressed little bit better. The dialogue from far away could have been a little bit more audible. And the flickering from the candles when they weren't actually flickering probably could have been addressed. Overall I think it was a pretty good movie considering the subject and content. Kudos to whoever directed this project 😊
Dear Evan Hansen (2021)
Not as good as....Stage but...
Not as good as the stage performance, but included just about everything from it. Musical numbers were just as good if not better than the stage performance. The new songs were an added bonus! The story comes across just the same, both were told beautifully. Overall this movie points out something that needs to be looked at so the signs aren't missed. Teen depression and scucide in no laughing matter. Wake up and you can see the signs.
Rose Blood: A Friday the 13th Fan Film (2021)
What did I just watch?
At first I wanted to believe that this could be a great follow-up to part 7 however with everything that was going or lack thereof I realized you didn't really need to follow up especially with material such as this. I have to admit that Peter Anthony did this fan film no good deed. As indicated by other low comments and reviews. The lighting was bad, the dialogue was bad, all around the action was bad with the exception of Jason Brooks performing the role of Jason Voorhees in the kill scenes. Unfortunately he was only in the film what seem to be about maybe 10 minutes. I believe that some directors can pull off being in their own movies but this was definitely not one of them. I mean really what was up with the evil laugh? Were you trying to emulate or channel your inner Dr. Claw from inspector gadget? The only redeeming qualities this movie actually had to offer was bringing back in three of the original cast from the 7th movie. I just feel really embarrassed for them that they had to be subjected to this kind of onscreen torture. One of the major problems I believe is the fact that more questions arose than answers. And really, this elite killing team they went out without a bang, a massive letdown. I half expected them to be (with all their macho talk) a little bit better or even on par with Jason X at least the grunts put up a fight! Someone please let Peter Anthony know he should stop while he's ahead, or in this case behind.
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (1989)
Corny...but oh the memories
It's hard to believe after all these years the nostalgia this show brings back. Such talent we've lost over the years since the shows release. R.I.P. Danny Wells & Captain

The Sweetest Thing (2002)
worth seeing over and and over again
I saw this one just about the time it hit DVD or in 2005...anyways I picked it up for my collection and watched it that night. Never laughed so hard at a film that had dating and relationship situations to only a level that I could truly identify with. That and it was filming in the Bay area.
