Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
Yet another white man bad movie
Thanks for making yet another movie that showcases the current "white man bad" agenda. I was hoping for another movie that reveals that only white men are evil. I'm so glad that Marty, Bobby and Leo were there to deliver. They are truly the farthest thing from those men represented in THIS movie. I wasn't too far in to the movie when i realized what they were trying to convey. Then i realized it was, in fact, a Scorsese film. I don't think I've seen many Scorsese films, and this movie reminded me why, he stinks. I don't watch many recently made movies anymore because I don't care for all this b.s. That's been released lately. My eyes have been open due to the events of the last several years and I'm thankful to God for that. Don't watch, it's a waste of 3 and a half hours of your life...
The Social Dilemma (2020)
I'm thankful I never took the social media bait.
It seems like the exes and formers no that this manipulation is terrible for humanity. Maybe that's why they are exes and formers? The currents and founders seem oblivious to what has made all this become what it is. I feel like maybe they are playing dumb and trying to look innocent from wrong doing. The internet has made mankind so naive and easily manipulated, I wonder if that is what was intended? Life was better before they made "life easier" with all this new technology. If evolution was real, this would be causing a) us to unevolve or b) the de-evolution of mankind. However you choose to see it.
Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson & The Band (2019)
It was ok, I've seen better though.
Most documentaries on bands make me like that band a little more. This didn't take make me like them more. I still like them though. It did focus a lot on Robbie, but I guess that was the point.
Avatar (2009)
I liked it better, WHEN IT WAS CALLED POCAHONTAS
It's Pocahontas slightly altered and implementing transportation from Terminator 2. Thumbs down, overrated
Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party (2016)
Haters gonna hate
I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. Maybe there are some things stated that aren't 100% accurate. But it's still 85% more trustworthy than anything any left-wing commies in sheep's clothing has stated in recent years. Mostly butthurt democrats are going to trash this wonderful documentary. I ,being neither left or right, think it's pretty alright.
A Haunting on Brockway Street (2019)
Don't make the mistake we did!
Boring. Lame. I could go on and on with words that describe this, but then you'd be wasting your time reading this as I wasted time watching that.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)
Watch MST3k version.
+5 if you watch the Mystery Science Theater 3000 or Cinematic Titanic version.
Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (2020)
Eh, I don't know.
It's ok. Maybe if I was high or a seasoned super-sensitive meditator that understood all of what they were explaining, I might be able to relate. But...(I think) they stated that the government has craft that looks like/performs like UFOs. What if all (or, at least, some) of the things they saw was the aforementioned craft?? Regardless, I want to party with these cowboys...
Unplanned (2019)
Watch and learn
Don't believe the bad hatefilled reviews. Just watch and see if it changes your mind about the issue.
Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984)
Decided to stop watching this movie.
Boring, is all I can say, but they tell me my review is to short. So I will say boring again...
Ad Astra (2019)
What is Latin for Boring? Ad Borda?
The story was ok, but it was just boring. I don't think they figured out how to stop whatever event was occuring. Did they? I fell asleep, I was so bored. It was like 2001: A Space Odyssey only MORE boring.
Midsommar (2019)
Stupid
This movie was stupid. Plain and simple. Cut and dried. It's stupid. It's only good for mocking. Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupid. I plan on never watching a movie by this schmuck again. I only wish I had more hands to give it MORE thumbs down.
Black Summer (2019)
Too little, too late
This might have been awesome 10-15 years ago, but that was before the zombie flood really created. I watched the first episode and found no likeable characters in a story I've heard more than once before. If you've never watched anything Walking Dead, or the like, you might enjoy this. Otherwise, to quote Steven Tyler, "It's the same old story, same old song and dance..."
The Highwaymen (2019)
Very enjoyable and well done
In my opinion, this is a great movie. I liked the story and Costner and Harrelson are great together. A great job was done with directing and cinematography as well. Can't think of one thing I did not like about it. Hopefully these actors will work together again soon.
An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn (2018)
I love this movie very much
I loved it from the start. This is such a great movie. The whole nonsensical humor and cheesy 80s synth works so well together. And I've only seen 20 minutes of this!!!
Bad Times at the El Royale (2018)
Hey, liked it.
I enjoyed this movie. It was like a Tarantino movie, only better. Give it a shot. It has a great soundtrack, too.
The House That Jack Built (2018)
Couldn't make it though.
I tried watching this movie, but I after a half hour I decided to stop. It was taking too long. It was so slow and drawn out. That half hour seemed 3 times that. So the 3 star rating might actually be one star. I did realize that Matt Dillon reminds me of Bruce Campbell. So, someone please start working on a Campbell-Dillon flick. Don't waste that magic!
