Seven Psychopaths (2012)
Much much better than what i expected
Seven Psychopaths.... A nice funny run of comedy. A movie with several psychos, but totally different from what u expect from a movie with psychopathic characters. Its basically abt a psycho chasing Psychos... or wtv :P Nice cutouts of different stories, which are supposed to be a part of the movie that character of Colin Farrel wants to make... Colin Farrel does it very well and makes u laugh enough that u start liking his character.. Sam Rockwell shows his class and supports Farrel's character in a great way! Totally watchable, u wont be bored at all. You will love the movie, especially the ending. Much better than what u expect from the title...A really good comedy but No academy award nominations though. Maybe Sam Rockwell, if hes lucky..
Django Unchained (2012)
Its Django....With a 'D'
This movie is simply Amazing...One of the best of this decade yet. The cast, the direction, screenplay, music... its all perfect! Another masterpiece by Tarantino (Inglorious Bastards). But personally i m going to give all credit to the actors here, who made a simply fantastic story look more adventurous and dramatic. Christopher Waltz, playing a bounty hunter certainly deserves academy award nomination for his supporting role. Jammie fox was v good too bt not an award winning performance, but best of all, LEONARDO DICAPRIO, what a harsh, rich, bitter hearted, middle aged man hes played!! He actually deserves to win an Oscar for his supporting role. but it shocks me that he didn't even get a nomination in Oscars!!! He is the one who plays this character which makes the climax of the movie look better and stick you to ur seats while watching... Waltz was great through out the movie but Leonardo comes in and makes it way better and "Western" Over all, one of the best i have seen in years. Best of Dicaprio since Shutter island...A Must Watch!!
Go On (2012)
I want this show to keep "going on" :P
One of the best things about the show is its humor... brilliant !! As obvious from trailer, Matthew perry, who tries his best to avoid a certain group of people actually starts to get involved with them and a part of them. A really nice show with incredible comedy actors... Perry himself has a great comeback after his so-so canceled show "Mr. Sunshine" Its almost like his co-actor from friends, Matt le blanc, whos show "Joey" didn't get much applauded but made an excellent comeback with his hit comedy "Episodes". Go on is really funny and fun to watch! You wudn't wanna miss this one, i hope it goes on for at least 5 or 6 seasons. A must watch for Perry's fans
Killing Them Softly (2012)
One of the most under rated movies of 2012
I admit that the movie is slow, ofc it is.... its supposed to be slow. The real mafia or mob or bad guys don't always rush to things, jump from planes or explode cars to get the guys they want. Excellent performance by brad pitt, looks scary, "the hair on your arms will stand up", sure they will. Ray liotta convinces you, the misery is obvious. This guy playing frankie also does very good... Totally watchable, if u watch slow movies... if u don't, then don't js follow the bad reviews and be mentally prepared to NOT like it. These kinda movies don't have any conclusions or results or wtv, don't need one. or maybe yeah there is a conclusion, that is: "In America, you're on your own" :D
The Tree of Life (2011)
Fantastic but Disappeared....
I am so Mad. Mad that this movie didn't gain popularity as i was expecting.I mean its better than all those summer movies, a little slow but still good with two of the best actors in Hollywood i.e Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.A must watch for Brad's fans. A must watch for Sean's fans. Fantastic work ! Peaple interested in watching a film on sensitive subjects are going to love it ! Fantastic Direction. Fantastic Acting. Brad Pitt's one of the best performances of his carrier. Sean Penn is also good. Not as good as in "I am Sam" and "The Milk". Anyways, i give 9/10 for wonderful acting and ART. Well done Terrence Mallick. LOVED IT.
