This movie was utterly ridiculous! This movie makes the movie Beast look like an academy award winner. I wish they ran me over so I did not have to watch this. I want my 2hrs back. My brother in law must hate me....he highly recommended it! Thanks Joel for wasting my time. How do movies like this get written? At some.point someone has.to say....this thing is no good and throw in the towel but I guess not! The charactersin this got what they deserved for wasting my time... I GOT OLDER by two hours. The end....what a surprise....it took a left turn for no reason. Hope to God there is no sequel. Do not for the love of God watch this.

Poor acting....terrible script...unbelievable acting. This movie was terrible....waste of time. 1/10 is generous. You've been warned....don't waste your time. I'm writing this while it's still playing....trying to save as many people from this terrible movie as I can. This is the second Idris Elba movie I've seen this week....beast.....he's on a roll for stinkers. The female lead is annoying and silly. Apparently....being a cop like Luther means you absolutely know nothing about being a cop. Watch paint dry....it will be more satisfying than this.....trust me. Run don't walk away from this dribble.

10 minutes in I started to smell something.....it got worse as the movie went on. So much wrong with this "movie". The kid couldn't act to save his life. The breaking of the horse scene was ridiculous.... Clint could barely walk....but breaks a bucking bronco???Not one....but two women 1/2 his age want to jump his bones for no reason? Clint did Clint dirty. Hard pass....thank me later.

This movie was like getting on a train to nowhere. Had such potential....good start....then fizzled. I am usually easy going.....but this one stunk up the house. Only reason the 3......3 ppl giving it 1 star each. Save your time and watch paint dry instead....that would be more interesting. Can't believe they ever made this. 90 minutes of wasted time.

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Best one yet....no acadamy....but tons of fun.

This one was the best one by far. You see a lot of the monsters on screen.....great fight scenes. Suspend your belief....go on a fun ride. You will enjoy it. I think this one gives the most bang for your buck outta the series. Everyone going on about character development...blah blah blah.....you don't need a lot of that with Kong and Godzilla on the screen fighting it out! Watch it....you'll enjoy it!

This movie was a rarity. It was as good as the first. Action from start to finish with a sense of dignity thrown in. The scene with Laurence Fishburne had me grinning, Not sure if people caught the references to Matrix that were thrown in there. Watch this movie.....the ones who rated 1 -2 stars have No clue....watch it you won't regret it.

The Forest (I) (2016)

5.5 I would say is right on the money. Not academy material but good for a couple of jump scares. Just saw the movie tonight. First jump scare was so good lady next to me spilled her full bag of popcorn and tipped over her drink...we laughed and laughed...then the usher came.

I had the movie pegged to go in another direction but I guess the joke was on me, and everyone I was with thought the movie was going in the same direction I thought, so it was pleasant surprise that it was not that predictable.

Overall 5.5 is good, watchable, scary enough. More psychological than it was Horror or Terror.

It was a little light on the Horror, and there was 1 single plot line, but still enjoyed it.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012)

This movie lacks what it takes to take an Oscar Award, lacks the sensitivity and depth....blah blah blah, forget all that noise...go see the movie with your kids they would love it.

This movie is for Kids, and parents who have kids. I took my daughter to see it today in 3D. Excellent visual effects, entire movie had effects, you did not take your glasses off at all or you'd miss the next 3d effect that is right around the corner. The cast was good, The Rock was great and jokes were funny, this movie was child safe and had everything that your young one would want, lots of effects, action, above and underwater. I would definitely recommend it in 3D. The pace of movie is fast and if you have kids ....you can appreciate this.

I rated this movie for what it is...a kids movie. Are you going to leave the theater discussing the virtues of Plato? NO! but your kids will be going on about this and that in the movie. Worth Admission? Absolutely. Asked my daughter what she rated it....9.5 she said. Was it worth it? When your child says 9.5 what the heck else matters?????

Black (2005)

Oscar winner all the way

After reading some of the other posts some saying it deserves an Oscar and some saying it deserves but will not get. I say this one will be an Oscar winner in my books. Indian movie or not, it makes no difference to me. This is my first Indian movie I have watched in about 15 years. It had everything you look for in a movie, it takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions, character depth, great acting, excellent cinematography and great direction. I agree it may not get an Oscar (not that it does not warrant it), but because of other factors (read as not made in Hollywood;-)). After seeing other Hollywood movies that have (imo) undeservedly received Oscars (ie: The Hours) it would be a shame to see Black not receive one. I am not comparing the content or subject matter of the above two movies, just the ability to do what I think a Oscar winning movie should accomplish...move me, provoke me to discussion, entertain me. Black in my opinion is pure Gold.

I have the DVD and I highly recommend this movie. Not to be taken as light entertainment though..this movie weighs on you like a 500 pound stone from start to finish.

I agree with Time magazine. Easily the worst movie of the year. If you wish to waste hours, then watch this movie. I would have rather have root canal than watch this.

Nicole Kidman is batting 0 for 2...Eyes Wide Shut and now this...don't get me wrong the acting job in this movie was well done but the script is more for those who wish to make more of movies than it really is. You can try to read into all those scenes, the meaning of this and the meaning of that...sorry...cant get around it ...it was a bad movie.

Was hoping for more (or less hours)
