The Alfred Hitchcock Hour: An Unlocked Window (1965)
Want a good scare?- Try this on for size!
Far and away, this is by far the creepiest, and scariest endings of any show I've ever watched- anywhere and any time. I will not spoil this for folks who haven't seen it! Truly I feel the best classic hour of horror ever produced. Done so well, with the setting, background music, and even the weather adding to its creepiness. You are always wondering throughout what will eventually happen. By far THE BEST Hitchcock hourly episode, followed by The Jar, The Return of Verge Lykens, and Where The Woodbine Twineth.

I remember...
I distinctly remember watching this one with my Mom and sister, with my Mom ( God rest her soul)- saying repeatedly that we watched it with my sister, as if it were a solid, nice tv, family memory. The music or theme music throughout is kinda creepy and fitting for the plot. And the playmates' character names were well- fitting and thought- provoking for the storyline. It's one of my favorites, with a sad ending though. Very unique storyline!

No WOKE here pleeeeze!
I beg to differ with you people here who feel "offended" by the negative stereotyping of Southerners in this episode. Don't look so deeply into this episode and just enjoy the plot. I as well as others didn't perceive things the way you did, as well as, I believe, many "Southerners". Just love it for what it is- a better, creepy episode💀. There's enough "woke" goin on in this country!
