This has the worst acting I have ever seen and in my life. It's laughable. Worst thing I have ever seen on Tv. Why would amazon put this on their platform!

Finally a good SCARY movie!

What a GREAT movie!!! My friend saw this movie the day before I came over to her house. I asked how it was, because there hasn't been a good scary movie in a VERY long time, and she said was it was REALLY REALLY good. I asked her if she was serious and she said Yes!
When she said that Ed and Lorraine Warren were part of this movie that gave credibility to it. I've been aware of them for over a decade. Right then and there she said "If you want to see it I'll see it again". She saw it 2 days in a row. That's how good it is.
It was scary and very suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat the ENTIRE time.
Great writing, great directing....a Home Run!!

Wanted this to be a good movie, but not this time

I really wanted this to be a good movie. When it ended it felt like I missed half of it. I felt a little empty, you could say.
The point of the movie (through 3/4th of it) was Matt Damon's character needing to get to Elysium because he's sick. Then in the last 20 minutes he dies and the little girl gets cured. When that happened I felt like saying...Why the heck did they do that. When you see a movie there's a built up of anticipation, especially an action movie. Everything should tie in together-the beginning, middle and end. Why did they throw in the idea of the girl getting cured at the VERY last moment. The point was that HE get cured.
The movie should have just been about Matt Damon getting to there to save the little girl. There would have been 1 solid plot and it could get carried out by getting her there, like he did anyways.
There could have been more action. What was there was good don't get me wrong. I wish Matt Damon wasn't sick through most of the movie. That's not very exciting to watch. They should have given Jodie Foster more screen time. The beginning was a yawn. My dad and brother really liked it though.

Finally something different other than a bunch of cops that are all best friends, busting criminals together, day after day....(hello Law and Order). There's conflicts between them, competitiveness between them, diverse characters, love hate relationships etc... I'm glad that there's a sister for the main character. There's a story besides catching bad guys. Something different is always welcome! I caught the 2nd episode (didn't hear about the show before that)and thought it was GREAT! I'm watching the pilot online to catch up on it. Great eye-candy too!! Never hurts does it ladies?? I'm so sick of my favorite shows getting canceled so I hope it stays a regular on the network! Heather
Amazing Movie, Saw in 3D

I definitely rate this as excellent. Today was the opening day in the U.S.
Seeing it in 3D really adds to the excitement and makes you feel like you're in the mix of it all. That doesn't happen in all movies just because they are in 3D. It also have humor added in.
And don't worry if you haven't seen all the previous Hobbit or Lord of the Rings movies because you can still follow along without a problem. I was worried about that because I myself have never seen them. When we were leaving the theater there was a line of people waiting to get in and a couple kids were asking how it was. I gave a thumbs up because I didn't want to give ANYTHING away. Definitely go out and see it.
