The Flash: The Trial of The Flash (2018)
Ridiculous
This was just awful. The whole trial was a joke. Instant murder trial and conviction? Where was the police investigation? As others have pointed out, there were so many large plot holes, the nuclear truck Fallout was driving would have fit through them. No check of who called to say the body was in Barry's loft? No checking on whether Devoe's wife actually met Lanse at an ALS support group? No testimony as to the alarm saying someone was in the loft before Barry got there? And as others have pointed out, no autopsy report? I would imagine DeVoe's body would show a cause of death/stress other than a knife wound. It's frustrating to see such sloppy writing on one of my favorite shows.
Stargate: Atlantis: Sateda (2006)
Who is he? Rambo?
A truly ridiculous episode. Ronon faces an army of Wraith who can't shoot straight. The villagers the team encounters early in the episode are more accurate with their arrows and tranquilizer blow darts than the Wraith are with their blasters. A building blows up with a huge fireball engulfing it, and Ronon limps out with only a piece of shrapnel in his leg. The episode looked more like a video game than a real situation. The initial plot line of how Ronon accidentally brought disaster to the villagers who helped him was forgotten in favor of Ronon killing Wraith. Lost dramatic potential here.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Ready or Not (2017)
Awful
So many improbable acts by the good guys in this episode that it almost seemed like a parody. From missed chances to kill Yorka, to the retired officer Morgan clumsily "watching" Yorka to the ridiculous disarming of the bomb. And the NCIS agents shouldn't have been surprised by the reveal of the accomplice, given that she actually searched and disarmed them. Any hostage with half a brain would have ignored Gibbs' gun and/or knife, and Yorka wouldn't have trusted a hostage to do the search. He'd have had her lift up Gibbs' coat and have him turn around. Or make Gibbs and Bishop take off their coats. I've never written a review of NCIC on here, but this episode was atrocious.
