Iwájú (2024)

Brilliant!

Oh my God this animation is so good I was waiting for it and it didn't disappoint, it was so good OMG a futuristic Africa was amazing to watch, a positive look at Africa was also amazing to see I couldn't believe it. Then the staying true to the way of talk (no lies) I highly recommend it. The characters were written well, the story is really good and understandable in the world we are living in now. I want to thank Disney for giving these African creators a chance to share their beautiful story because they could have refused but wow it was accepted, so I would like a say a big thank you to Disney and everyone else who worked on this. Beautiful beautiful story indeed !!

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024– )

Should Have Stuck To The Movie!!

Okay I really waited for this when I saw the title it immediately took to back in time to the Mr and Mrs Smith movie was so good and here I thought it was going to be like the movie well it is not!! It is so slow and flat oh my God they should have stuck with the movie concept I felt like the only good thing here was Alexander Skarsgard who only had a cameo it is hilarious really! I just wish they stuck to the movie idea, this was not good at all. I have great respect for Donald Glover but this is a pass for me. I did not even go past the third episode because I couldn't stand it geez. Hollywood what is happening these days mmh?!

Salaar (2023)

THE SECOND HALF MAKES UP FOR IT !! WOW

Okay truth time........I did love the movie it wasn't exactly what I waited for you know these anticipated movies you build something in your mind and you expect a lot but then you reach and you get disappointed that is how it usually is with anticipated movies. Anyway the truth is the first half of the film was TOO dramatic damn!! It was just too dramatic also they took long to explain what the hell was going on!! But damn baby the second half makes up for it and that is why I gave it a 7 because the second half was too good and that was the Prashanth Neel we all know !! I almost gave it a standing ovation it was that good! All in all it is one of those movies that don't start right away you have to be patient with it.

Freelance (2023)

Oddly a Downer!

I love John Cena and I especially love John Cena in action movies but this one of course it was good but something was missing I think it was the whole flow..but it did have a lot of things common in real life like other countries getting the business of other countries acting like they know better than them....yeah that is true!! But still Allison Brie's character truly irritated me to no end I mean the brattyness just could not stop geez......the only person holding the movie together was John cena and it was truly sad because he truly tried but it was already bad. The action was lacking a bit and I cannot say it is the worst action movie.

Under the Boardwalk (2023)

One of the best movies of 2023!

Honestly I do not know what humans want seriously.....people have been complaining all year about the movies released this year so far and here comes a movie that has everything, humor, love, amazing stuff and people give it a five! I give this movie a 100 period! People will never be pleased and that is just a fact. I think though all the hate comes from people getting tired of Hollywood, yes I said it.. the movies are not that good anymore! So maybe that is why fans or weirdos want to put down almost every movie released just to spread negativity about the industry! They are paving the way for South Korea haha! Of course there are the bad ones seriously but this is not one of them. Period!

Gran Turismo (2023)

So Entertaining!

This movie was so good! So good....of course the first 10 minutes were a bit slow but then Oh Damn!! First off I did not know about the game (not a gamer) and I was so shocked this was based on a true story (some people have truly lived #sigh) But anyway the story was good and I love the way they potrayed everything about racing they did not hide stuff from the viewers and stayed true to the story. So I could even give this 10/10 because that's how good it was. I also did not expect it to be that good basing on how bad this 2023 Hollywood year, when you do watch something nice it is very shocking!

Heart of Stone (I) (2023)

Disappointed!

I waited for this movie oh my God! And when it was released I was ahem very disappointed. I mean the whole thing focused so much on Gal Gadot's character. I really hate savior complex characters (#labrea) Like why should one character get all the glory and so badly at that. I truly hated Alia Bhatt's character, I mean seriously?! I was so excited when Alia Bhatt was announced to be in this movie, very excited but when I watched it I couldn't believe it! I do love Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt but this was very disappointing! I wish Alia Bhatt picked a better Hollywood debut because this was not good.

Haunted Mansion (2023)

Good Good!

I don't understand why this movie has a low rating but anyway everyone has their opinion right?! Maybe it's probably because people are hating on Disney now haha! So I liked this movie oh my God it was good it was really good for me, the characters were on point and the jokes were just right. I understand it was a remake of the old one which I did not see ( will not lie) but I did like this one. I do appreciate the black characters wow! Owen Wilson was good too his jokes on point all the time! Maybe I am being too cheesy about this but honestly I liked this movie especially in 2023 #yearofbad!

Tacoma FD (2019–2023)

Very Interesting!

Oh my God I do not know how to describe Tacoma FD because I don't think there are enough words to do it. This show is a relaxing comedy about a group of firefighters. A very good comedy show & those are few these days!!! First off they are a weird bunch and that makes good tv. The character of Eddie Penisi Jr is one of my best he truly brings the show together. I do like Ike Crystal too, he is a dimwitted fellow but also a very good person at heart. Oh and the overall story they talk about modern issues like racism, shine a light on them for awareness. This is one of my best shows of all time!

Ballerina (III) (2023)

Good But.....

It was a very good movie if you do like badass ladies like me who loves watching them!! BUT I wish the story explained more of the bad guys' side. Yeah as a lady I get it you see your friend committed suicide because she was being blackmailed because of a sex tape and you want all the revenge in the world!! I do get it but it seemed like she was over reacting like Ji Hoon's character said at the end of the movie.. Honestly she did over react because that was just one tape she saw, what about all the creepy businesses they do! I did like the story though but I feel like it could have been more.
