Civil War (2024)
No plot; very misleading from what the trailer represents
I had really high hopes from what I saw from the trailer. In this movie there was no build up. Character development was not there at all, I don't know any background from anyone except for where 2 main characters discuss where their families live. We don't know the reason on why there is a civil war, never did find out. Half of the movie is just the protagonists driving to their destination. Total time of shooting/military is probably 15 minutes. The ending made no sense. Basically it's just a whole movie full of whys, what, and how's. It'd be worth it to watch for free on a streaming service but that's about it.
What Is a Woman? (2022)
Factual
At the start of this documentary I was thinking "this is going to be terribly filmed", however it's the complete opposite. Props to the editors on this one. Throughout the documentary Matt Walsh interviews several people. Of these people they range from black, white, male, and female. Travels to other countries to experience their Point of view of "what is a women" as well as trans ideology. Matt Walsh also talks to therapists, doctors, historians, father, and mothers to learn the educational psychology and biology of the human. The documentary also adds in some comedy to make it more entertaining for the viewer. All in all I think everyone should watch this spectacular show!!
White Noise (2022)
Felt like 2 different movies
The movie started off very slow, was labeled as a drama comedy but I didn't hear nothing comical (maybe I just don't have a sense of humor). It finally got to the climax and the airborne disease rolled in so they evacuated the town. Very interesting and entertaining to watch in this stage. Whenever the airborne gas left the premises of the hometown everyone went back home and instantly it turned in to a whole different movie. Almost more of a thriller, with eerie cinematography and music. The dialogue within the movie was quite strange, just the way they were talking mad it sound like the setting was made in the 1800's not the 70's or 80's like I think it was meant to be. I would NEVER recommend this to another person. Fortunately I was able to sit through it but unfortunately it was a waste of my time. Could've been ended 30 minutes earlier, definitely drawn out. 3/10.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
Produced well
Right from the start they have you pulled in to the film. Often times there's movies that take you 30 minutes to get pulled in but this one there is no slow start. Great filming, soundtrack, acting, and stunts. Keeps you on the edge of the seat for a majority of the film. Straightforward film with very few plot twist and easy to learn the characters and what's going on. Although there's like a million Mission Impossible's this is one of the top ones. Even if you haven't watched any of the other Mission Impossible films you can still watch it and pretty much know everything that going on. Round of applause for Tom Cruise.
The Card Counter (2021)
Felt like I was "counting" rice
Holy crap, made it in my top 10 worse movies. Long drawn out scenes. No real climax. Soundtrack was repetitive. I had more fun watching professional cornhole. Wtf the end doesn't even make sense like how do you get so hurt when you were the one with the gun. Also 3 characters in the whole movie and we know absolutely nothing about their background. Maybe just maybe, instead of the drawn out scenes used for filler just give us insight on the characters. Cut scenes were absolutely terrible, felt like a college students short film. The only good thing was the story line but it took very long to get to the point of that.
