So Help Me Todd (2022)
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL "So Help Me Todd"
"So Help Me Todd" is an absolute gem of a show that deserves to stay on the airwaves. Its blend of wholesome humor, creativity, and focus on family dynamics makes it a standout in today's television landscape. As a viewer, it's been a refreshing delight, quickly becoming my favorite new show in quite some time.
The charming characters and witty storytelling make it a joy to watch, and I can't imagine why CBS would even consider canceling such a delightful series. Great mystery and intrigue. Amazing chemistry will all the cast members.
Here's hoping they recognize its value and keep the laughter and heartwarming moments coming for seasons to come.
The Equalizer (2021)
Hidden Gem
I love a good mystery and action movie/TV show. However, these generals don't always come cleanly. This show is it! THANK YOU!!! Queen Latifah is a genius. I feel like she shines in this role. I love how family-centered this show is and how supportive her family and friends are. Not to mention how this show did not make the female lead run to a man to support her or save her every episode. She is a strong independent woman who loves her family/friends and supports the underdog. This show has inspired me in many ways and I can't wait to see what they do next. Thanks for making it and letting us into this world.
Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths (2022)
I'm still shouting from the rooftops, "BRING BACK Mystery 101 & Auroura"
Before starting, I must state that I have missed some of the former hallmark mysteries. (Aurora and Mystery 101)
This was a fun try. I appreciated the sister dynamic with two strong females. However, the plot could use more. Some of their detective skills were a bit shallow. They were asking some basic questions. I would have loved to see them tie into their mystery with their parents.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Halfway through, I enjoyed their solid romantic relationship with a long-term friend. It didn't seem like love at the first-glance situation. He seemed like a good guy...and then last minute, he came in as the bad guy!!!
Wow!
It came out of nowhere, but not in a good way. Bad surprise! It seemed like a weird switch when he had previously apologized for kissing his long-term friend but felt no moral issues for murdering someone. 🤔
Overall this was an okay try. It was a fun and light-heartwarming sister show. However, I didn't connect with the characters and felt a little out of the loop with the surprise ending.
