Confusing...Yet I Loved It!
31 July 2023
EEAAO is many, many things. While it is very confusing, it is brilliant. The Daniels have probably just invented a new movie genre, that not many people will dare to touch. The many interesting plot points are what brings this movie to life. The amazingly edited fight scenes are well done to say the least. The cast is also wonderful. I loved seeing Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, James Hong and Ke Huy Quan's breathtaking performances. I will say, I love Jaime Lee Curtis' other movies, but this wasn't her best work. She was still amazing, but her character should have got more screen time. EEAAO is a very crazy movie that will make you question some things. Chilling dialogue beautifully corresponds with the characters they were put with. Definitely watch this movie, as it is one-of-a-kind,

I Mean... Okay...
31 July 2023
By now, I've watched What About Bob At least 3 times. The first time I watched it, i thought it was just fine. The other two, I think I've lost focus. It's not that I don't enjoy it, but the plot is a little repetitive, making the movie a little boring. The sets are done ok.. I guess. A lot more plot points could've been added to make this movie more interesting. The movie itself had some funny jokes here and there, but nothing to make you fall out of your seat laughing. Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss are fantastic in this movie. Especially Dreyfuss, who brings the rage his characters embodies. Overall I would recommend this movie, mostly, to die hard Bill Murray fans. But anyone could watch it, just to see if they'll like it.

Just So Good...
31 July 2023
In my opinion, Up is one of the most beautiful movies ever created. Pete Docter and the other writers just knocked it out of the park for this film. Every time I watch it, the beginning always gets me. The movie itself has a wonderful storyline, with lovable characters. The animation is brilliant, packing little details inside Carl's house that are just stunning. Russel is also amazing. He brings joy to this, sad in a good way, film. The famous "Married Life" music really captures the heart and soul of this movie. Unlike other Pixar films, this movie brings out emotions. This movie has already become a classic, not just in my family, but around the world. Definitely give this movie a watch. You will not be disappointed.

Just An Amazing Show!
31 July 2023
Only Murders in the Building, is a show I would watch over and over again. Every single time I watch it, I notice something new, or catch an easter egg. The show itself is amazing, with an all-star cast and funny jokes sprinkled throughout each episode. I think Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez bring a lot to their roles. Even the supporting cast members have such personality, I couldn't keep my eyes off of them. It has amazing, yet chilling, music that really relaxes you if you have been having a bad day. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of mystery and thriller. It will definitely not disappoint.

It wasn't half bad!
30 July 2023
Maybe I'm a little biased because Melissa McCarthy is one my favorite comedians, or was this just a good movie. I thought this movie just barely hit the minimum of "Hollywood standards" I loved the casting in this movie, and it was hilarious. The jokes were perfect, and so was the dialogue. I would have liked a better ending, but that's fine because of all the comedy spread out within the movie. The car scenes were good as well. I'm not hating on Eric Stonestreet as an actor (I enjoy Modern Family a lot) but I didn't like his role. The unsettling scene between him and McCarthy just was terrible. I would recommend this movie, because it was actually really good.

Why
30 July 2023
Cats. The movie that I thought would be amazing, turned out as a semi-train wreck of a film. Good people like Judi Dench and Taylor Swift were dragged into this mess. The visual effects were terrible and it just wasn't good. It was a little concerning. Maybe not concerning, unsettling. I didn't really want/expect to see James Corden eating a chicken leg out of a trash can or Rebel Wilson dancing to a song dressed as a cat. I could name a lot of things better than this movie. I think I even spotted an occasional human hand mistake in there as well. The only good part about this movie was Jenifer Hudson. While I didn't really like her character, that song she had was surprisingly amazing. Maybe she knew the movie would be bad so she wanted to bring something to it. I wouldn't recommend this movie, but you could watch it for a lot of laughs.

I don't get all the hype...
30 July 2023
This movie is many things. One may say it is a story of strength, and finding the beauty in yourself. Others, may just not like it. I am in the middle of all of that. The movie was a little better than meh, but lacked in some aspects that it could have dealt with more. I think Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were good, but I really didn't like their characters (Mostly Ken) The musical numbers and camera work were amazing. But, by far three things stood out to me. One, the costumes design and sets. The directors sculpted amazing set design with colorful costumes to go along with it. My honorable mention is Rhea Perlman. I thought she was phenomenal. While anyone could play that role she really brought it. Finally, America Ferrara. Since her days on Ugly Betty, she has became a household name. But in this movie she was wonderful. I enjoyed Superstore quite a bit and wanted to see Barbie mainly for her character. Her speech was moving and she brought so much to her simple, yet relatable mom.

The Office (2005–2013)

Probably the best comedy show ever!
30 July 2023
The Office has always, and will always, be a staple in American culture, whether it's with "That's What She Said" or Kevins Famous Chili Spill, this show will always be one of the best shows ever. The producers and writers of the show brought so much life to a setting that most people couldn't. The fact that a show about a paper company lasted 9 seasons is just amazing. The cast is also amazing, being one of the better ensembles I've ever seen. Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson and John Krasinski bring so much comedy and jokes to their beautifully written roles. But, I think that it is the supporting cast that makes this show so awesome. It's relatable jokes and situations really connects with viewers. I only recently found out from the Office Ladies Podcast, how much freedom the cast had to improvise and suggest ideas to the writers. So many other sitcoms have gotten ideas from this show and been very successful, such as Parks and Recreation and Brooklyn 99. Definitely give this show a watch, as it is amazing.

One of the few live action movies I would watch over again
30 July 2023
This movie will most definitely brighten your day, and you will enjoy a few laughs along the way. It has a crazy storyline, with an array of colorful characters you will meet along the way. Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig, bring so much energy and goofiness to their characters in a way that is very funny to see unfold. The actors and actresses who play the supporting characters also bring life to their roles (Such as Jamie Dornan and Reyn Doi) The musical numbers will 100% put a smile on your face, as they are well done in terms of jokes and setting. Costume design and the sets are stunning, colorful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this movie if you want a nice laugh here and there.
